After we lynch Ollie I think we should go after Republic21 and Castiel. Republic's been suspicious for a while and his dismissal of Ollie as scum was strange: post 491.

Castiel's derp (if it was that) as Mayor made me instantly suspicious of him, but what was strangest was his almost immediate vote (7 minutes) after Republic had voted for Ollie. Could be coincidence.

Maybe jwlk too. He's just been a bit too perfectly opposite to them; maybe a tactic?

 

Jon rounded on Ollie, aura of demonic mayor-y power flaring around him in anger. "It's you! You're responsible for all of this!"

"He turned me into a Newt!" Exclaimed jwlk in confirmation. His fellow Amusement Park goers nodded in agreement. "Purge the heretic!"

"Burn the witch!" Agreed Tad2103.

Twenty angry people - and one enraged Demon Mayor - came at him, wielding broken aircraft parts; the man stood no chance.

His flayed body laying on the ground and his severed head in Jon's hand, town shared a laugh - knowing that they had defeated the source of all this heresy.

Then the warlock's severed head spoke.

"I name you, SURVIVALIST!" With dark power summoned from beyond the void, the Warlock summoned another anvil from the sky, crushing the Demon Mayor where he stood and knocking his head from his hand.

The severed head began to laugh and promptly rolled over to its body, which stood and reattached it to its neck. "'Twas but a flesh wound."

Moments later, the anvil shattered and Jon stepped out from under it unharmed. "Takes more than that to kill a Demon Mayor. Especially when he guesses wrong.

To describe this game's moderation as inept is woefully inadequate.

Fiat, you've forgotten game stages, you didn't know your own syntax, you make half-arsed edits to previous posts for new game stages like a Soulsteal attempt rather than making a new post, and now you've decided that I used an ability during the night that I never asked for, deciding that I wanted to use it from my QT musings. There was no bolding, nor was it on a separate line, as has been the case for ability uses in every other game of Mafia. It was also clear from the context that it was just me talking to myself.

For those reasons, I'm out.

I won't claim that I've been particularly great at modding for this game, or even good, or even fucking acceptable. I haven't - I've done a piss-poor job of it. The Soulsteal attempt, though, was written into that post because it was supposed to be there and Ollie was just really fucking late. You using your ability seemed, to me, like you using your ability. Considering other people use their ability with lines like "Make it so, Captain," it wasn't much of a stretch.

Seems to me that the thing we need to do is find the Thrall, and my biggest suspect for that role is...

Now he's publically revealed he can only attempt soul steals during the first 28 hours of each day.

Kill him after that or after he's failed a soul steal desperado.

Now we really need to start finding our 5 witches. Taure is the only one out of those who have died who could be a witch. Based on his anger about an ability being used, I think he's Cupid or Daredevil.

I still maintain Castiel as suspicious but we've already gone over why and it seems it has been decided that he's derped. He won't get lynched so why push for it?

I think Republic21 is suspicious, based on no more information than his attack of Commander Bond.

jwlk has felt strange, a view put forward by numerous people yesterday. He's probably the most likely lynch target for today, an action which I endorse.

But lets hear you defend yourself first jwlk. Remember no Roler Reveals.
