I'm kinda wary of a witch trick, and of a Soulsteal ruining the fun and losing your role. If Fen's the Warlock, and SS's you, we're screwed. If he's just the Enchantress, and the real Warlock SS's you, then at least we know the real Warlock. But...

Dammit, you could've been more subtle, and avoided the Soulsteal possibility. If your roleclaim is true, you could've deliberately slipped up, outright accused someone you shouldn't've, done something else, and avoided a SS possibility by getting lynched normally. Jesus Viera, this could backfire spectacularly.

 

Not during the day, what? The Warlock does Soul Steal during the day, specifically. Either Vira just foolishly role-revealed or she's lying for whatever reason.

 

I don't think she has any reason to lie, unless she's not actually the DoB. But if we lynch her, then it's no fun. Either the Warlock waits for the lynch to happens, and gets raped, or he SS and faces the possibility of getting owned by our resident Jedi Master.

No I don't think you are, Jon. Forgive me if I'm missing something, but Fen's double survival puts him in the scum category, and even if he isn't the Warlock and nobody SS's Vira, we still would've killed the Enchantress, right? And if the true Warlock shows him or herself to SS Vira, even if he or she doesn't succeed, we still get the reveal...

I would personally prefer Fen being the Warlock, denying he is the whole time and not SSing Vira for that reason, and getting murderfucked for it. Call me bloodthirsty, but would be well deserved. For the good of the town, and all.

 

2c. Vira is telling a lie, the Warlock does not try to SS her, she dies, and we know nothing.

 

Then what would her role be, you all reckon? If she'd want to risk roleclaiming DoB to potentially root out the Warlock, what could she be? Something boring, like Traveller, or the Dancer, or...

 

She could be the Thrall. We kill her, no effect, and the Warlock continues to live while muddying the waters.

Could be the Assassin. We kill her, and she might still kill Fen, but it could give witches another night kill if the sacrifice spirit is on another witch

Sorry for the double post, but it's also possible that one of the lovers turned out to be on the Warlock's faction, and the other lover was forced to join the Warlock as well. This gives the Warlock an expendable person that's not his thrall and can be discarded if needed.

If she were doing that, should we really be trying to speculate what role she has? Would kind of suck if it would lead to the Warlock either figuring it out or getting lucky.

 

Well in that case, that only raises the question of why you think that the witches would waste a kill on one of their own when they know that there are only 5 other ways for he/she/it to die, one of which is also by them and another is impossible since Jon used his mayor powers.

Either way, Fen is scum that can be killed by DoB and not a lynch, as such:

I am curious, all those cases where Vira lies, why would she? Especially, when she is just getting herself killed.

If Fen is Enchantress, he dies.

If he is Warlock, Our suspicions are re-enforced.
