    I was lazy and skimmed that part, alright? ;_;

Either way, I'm sticking with Lutris as I don't know who else to vote for.

    Shit, 5 pages already?

With townies outnumbering scum 16-7, voting randomly has a 70% chance of choosing a townie. This early in the game, that's almost certainly better odds than we could get any other way. Also, going back to last night...

It's hard to imagine that the witches' strategy is to put dhulli of all people forward for mayor. They would know that he wouldn't be picked, and (as far as I can see, someone correct me if I'm wrong) it wouldn't accomplish anything significant. So, while dhulli may be an idiot--is he a witch? I find that very unlikely.

On the other hand, if you're a witch, and know that dhulli isn't, suggesting we lynch him would make perfect sense. ;)

Or, you know, he's fucking Dhulli and the strategy is that people won't pay any attention to him because this fits with his behavior elsewhere (my sig, for example).

    Fascinating.

    Really.

You guys will only vote for someone who's played before, because anyone else is 'too unreadable' 'I don't trust them, they haven't played before' or 'DEY TUK UR JEEWWBBS'. Quite frankly if I had realised how xenophobic you niggers had become from playing this game I never would have joined. :facepalm

A day later, I'm going to stick with my vote for Silens. I haven't seen any reason to not give it to him, and if I'm going to vote based on how I can read people, then I'm already fucked because I suck at that.

I'll change to Lutris if he's one vote away from getting mayor though. He's a good second choice.

Oh, and can we get a vote tally please?

Honestly, I don't like the idea of anyone unknown having such extra powers, but it is true that somebody has to have it. That said, I'm pretty sure, Jon, that most of the people are of an opinion more similar to what I expressed, than any of the ideas you stated.

Honestly? I think we're making the game more than a bit boring by waffling on this. More than that, yeah we're being xenophobic here - and while there's a damn good reason for it, it doesn't excuse ruining the game for new people (hint, I don't think anyone's seen Ratsrub since we lynched him on the first day in DE2) - and while it's taking a pretty big risk to vote for someone who hasn't played before, it's also a fucking game of Mafia played over a Harry Potter fanfiction forum.

    Vote Player: Jon.

Worst case scenario? He's scum and we've made the game slightly more difficult.

Fair enough. I did slightly wonder whatever happened to ratstrub, and if he went back to lurking or merely left altogether.

I honestly have no fucking clue who to vote for at the moment. All this talk about 'reads' and stuff just confuses me :/

So I'll go to sleep, attend uni tomorrow, come back and see if anything's happened inbetween.

I think he left. I mean, it's not like we (read:I) gave him a warm welcome.

Seriously, I recommend everyone vote soon so we can get on with the game.

.... and this is why I hate 72 hour days. It gets boring.

Fine. Since I'm bored, I'll change my vote to the person most likely to make this entertaining:

    Rescind Vote

    Electoral Vote Player: Jon

He might not be as normal and sane as Silens and Lutris, but at least he'll be amusing.

If discussion was over for today, someone would be mayor and someone would be lynched.

Kai, I know there's time but we aren't really achieving anything other than repeating "Well, I don't trust any of the people interested in the position..." ad infinitum. We might as well do something, because what was going on was barely even discussion.

On the topic of long days: they are much better than 24 hour days. Much better. But, of course, sometimes there's not enough pressure to do stuff and everyone gets complacent (Early TinyHunt, I'm looking at you).

Then maybe the people running for the position should reveal some relevant information so that there are things to go off?

Alright. So we can reveal some information.

Well, a truth about my role. BEHOLD The Red Truth:

I cannot act with my power unless you fuck up.

    :trollface @ Lutris

I sort of agree with Vesvius. Still not sure if scum or just Jon, but... I'm addicted to his body...

    of words...

And there can't be anything bad about people who feed my addictions, eh? :p

Electoral DEADLINE Vote (Can we do that?) : Jon

...whatever. Jon is either being honest in a not-so-subtle way, and likely signing his death warrant, or being dishonest and signing his death warrant after a few days pass most likely. Either way.

    For the sake of expediency:
    Electoral Vote: Jon

Also, @Jon, fair enough, and just looking at the numbers, most of those are innocents no matter what, so yeah.
