Probably the most annoying thing about Twilight was the way it changed the public perception of vampires. They were bloodthirsty evil ghouls and great in a story. Twilight made them sparkle.

Now we have Warm Bodies.

I shit you not, a zombie romance movie. Maybe I'm late to the party with this one but wtf?

 

This movie makes me irrationally angry.

 

I hope they sparkle.

 

I hope they look less like homless emo kids and more like decaying zombies by the time the movie comes out.

Man, this is even closer to necrophillia than Twilight was. Surely there are laws against this -.- .

Although they'll most likely spin the story in such a way that makes Twilight vampires look like Dracula in comparison.

Also, the zombies seem to have a really good hairdresser.

 

Nothing too new, I guess. New to movies, but there's been a series of books called Generation Dead. Basically, just portraying teens that come back as normal people, just zombies. No thirst for brains or anything.

Actually, not too bad a read. There was some surprising depth hidden through the drama, and the romance between an undead and living was initially just the male making a statement about his minority. The thing I did really like was the portrayal of religious fanatics 'reterminating' them legally; often in brutal ways. They're already dead in the eyes of the law.

So, wouldn't recc it per se, since most was just cliches, but not too bad a read.

Icing on the cake would have been if "warm" was intended to be a gay reference.

Eh - it sounds like a random romance trash movie surfing on the twilight wave.

 

I was thinking about posting it earlier, but decided against. It's just too depressing and I didn't want to share it with lucky people who managed to avoid it. No need to make more people depressed.

On the other hand movie about a killer tire with superpowers may be awesome or simply proving that there are no good ideas left - Rubber.

 

So she falls in love with the zombie that ate her boyfriend... WTF?

They already ruined vampires with Twilight, can't they leave my zombies alone?

 

Hollywood is trolling the internet since they realize that SOPA/IP will fail.

 

Meh - Murderous rubber isn't that original either and has been done before.

The plot takes place in New York, and in the present. In a Hotel called "Quicky" a professor blackmails a student of his into having sex with him. But when the professor puts on a condom, the carnivorous condom bites off his penis and disappears.

Detective Mackaroni who gets the case thinks that the college girl just bit off her teacher's penis! Mackaroni goes to the motel himself to check out the crime scene, in the lobby he finds a gigolo named Bill and he asks him to follow him to crime room, there the two men attempt to have sex when they are suddenly interrupted by the attack of a killer condom.

And that isn't even porn, but based on an apparently 'famous' German comic.
