Okay, I keep going back and forth on whether to include this in the Alternates or in the Restricted Section. So hopefully, you can help me figure out which would fit better or if it’s even a fit.

Basically, the war played out differently, and Harry never went to Hogwarts. Anyways, here are some warnings for those who might not vibe with this story. This is unapologetically Harry/Ginny, and the two of them have a lot of personality. Additionally, it’s told from both Ginny and Harry’s point of view, which I think is an asset. Also, if you don’t like Harry as an auror, this is not for you.

Okay, onto my review, I really enjoyed this story. I like the writing. The pacing is well done. The characters have interesting motivations. Also, the whole story tied together in a way that I thought worked really well.

I particularly liked that the author had a set structure for Harry and Ginny set up within the terms of how their “relationship” would play out. But when it had to adjust and change, it felt believable to me.

I would rate this as a 4/5. Again, while I think it was really well done, I’m not sure what the rest of DLP will think. Also, I searched for this story and couldn’t find anything. (One last one - I know some people aren’t fans of the lowercase titles, and I would recommend that if that’s your only hang up, you should still give this a read.)
