A Black Comedy by NonJon and the Lie I've Lived by JBern. I've read each a couple times and the humor never failed to make me spit whatever I happened to be drinking at the time. Love the jokes in both. Harry/Sirius as best buddies in the Comedy is the best relationship of those two I've ever read. JBern's Sorting Hat is epic, end of story.

(in hushed tones) By the way, Underwater Light by Maya is very good. Slash, but on par with the best fanfiction.

Am I the only one who hated The Lie I Lived?

The last couple of chapters were just so godawful, they ruined the whole story for me.

 

Dumbledore killed by Kakaroff of all people pissed me off and Voldemort was an idiot in that. Its a good story and had its moments but Harry is far too much of an asshole and the swearing was too much. And the author's style of 1st person was at times annoying.

How will anyone figure out Voldemort has made horcuxes with Dumbledore's death?

I agree that the last couple of chapters were definitely less satisfying than the rest of the story. I always enjoy going back through it up to that point, though.

So many highlights, but Phoenix and the Serpent by Sanction would definately be on the list.
