Wrong. Rowling's target audience is children. Both her and the editor's couldn't give a fuck about 25 y/o males who want to see serious action. She's already been bashed for killing characters in the most ungory way imaginable ffs. The publishers wouldn't ALLOW her to publish anything other than light violence.

 

I happen to like the order. The fact that they dident do much exept reqruiting members in Ootp is just because they could not do much more, Voldemort was laying low, the public was refusing to belive that voldemort was back and the Ministry was just looking for a reason to get rid of any dumbledore supporters.

In HPB are the Death Eaters more active but we dont get to hear much about what the Order does but that does not mean that they dont do anything, it just means that they dont tell Harry what they are doing since he still hasent gotten a hang of Occlumency.

It will be interesting to see how the Order acts in Book 7. Will they unite more with the death of Dumbledore and fight back or will they fall apart?

We know so little about the order that I seriously wonder why they are displayed as stupid and uneffective in most of the fanfics. There can be so much more with just a little imagination.

It's disturbing how much the indy Harry fics make Harry handsome, intelligent and an effective fighter when everyone who doesnt agree is ugly, old and dumb.

In the same vain it's disgusting how the character of Dumbledore is degraded. People can bash Dumbledore all they want but how is it that he is suddenly stupid and angry?
