    We are already aware of that case. Personally, I doubt that the two have much to do with each other - the case has yet to be resolved, though Vander Ark may have given up on the Lexicon because of the case.

    It appears to just be a problem with the domain.

    You have to fix some of the links that use the domain name explicitely, but yes, it works via the IP. Great tip, Militis.

    Lexicon outage
    Many people have contacted me about the Lexicon being down. I'm sorry about that. We're in the process of transferring the domain and the DNS hasn't changed yet. Hopefully we'll be back up soon.

    Yes. the IP for the site is given if anyone wants to visit it.

    I also found http://www.hplex.info/ works too.

    That's partially misleading. WB and Rowling won their case vs RDR, the publisher of the book. The lexicon site itself isn't affected.

    And it's back online under hp-lexicon.info, with some comments on the technical problems here: http://www.hp-lexicon.info/whats_new.php

    Apparently they also lost some data.
