Edit: My first ever fanfic was either an Evangelion fic, a Pokemon fic, or a Digimon fic back in 03.

 

Mine is the same with Surarrin and Raven, the Psychic Serpent. It used to be one of my favourites.

 

Mine was a Book 7 fanfiction, but I forgot which.

I fondly remember even then that I despised Ginny.

But my first completed story that I really follow was Barb's works, and to this day I wish someone would obliviate me and kill Barb for having Harry give up his magic to save Draco Malfoy's life from eternal damnation.

 

Some Ranma fic from the Penultimate Ranma Fanfix Index. The HP Fandom wasn't too attractive to me until late 2004 or so.

 

Ah... Same as a lot of people, Barb. At the time though, it was like "the classic" and i was tired of waiting for Ootp. Of course, i didn't manage to finish it- the whole Good!Draco made me puke.

 

My first fic I read was some H/Hr fics I don't remember. Now I wish I could gouge my eyes out for even reading those fics.

 

First Harry Potter fic? "Harry's Madness". I liked it then, even actually read the Harry Potter books to understand it! .. and of course, hated it afterwards. Irony.

My first fanfiction? Some self-insertion DBZ fic of horrible quality. Was back in '02, so I can't remember (nor want to) the title of it.

 

The first FanFic I read was some crappy X-Men fic...Don't remember the name, nor do I care.

First HP fanfic: "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" by HPFan (or some name like that)

His sequel was "Harry Potter and the Ring of Ancients" which was pretty good as well, at least I remember it as being pretty good. It ended with a Dumbledore who was really Voldemort's master, and the guy pulling the strings behind everything.

 

Mine was the Amulet of Time, I couldnt stand Ginny even then and was happy that it wasnt HG (which it later turned into).

 

My first was a Post-GoF fic way back in 2000 on the Official Harry Potter Site. I kind of stumbled across it while I was looking for the possible release date of OotP. I don't remember what the fic was or what it was about, just that it sucked me in.

 

The first fanfic I ever read... God, this is going back a while.

Ah, now I remember. It was a Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 fic, that I'd stumbled upon by happenstance. It was fairly well done, and kept me entertained for a couple of weeks. There isn't much specific about it that I remember, except that it was post-Galatea, Nene was the only completely straight Knight Saber, and there was a lot of lesbian lovin'.

Heh, I can't even remember what the first Harry Potter fanfic I read was, probably some shitty cliché-filled piece of H/G crap, but one of the first few that I remember specifically reading was nonjon's Bestest. Birthday. Ever. Cracked me up totally.

 

Psychic serpent for me as well. I must admit, I though it was the real fifth book until I read the back of the real deal and noticed that the scene depicted is not featured in what I read. Shortly after that I found out about fanfiction

 

Barb's trilogy was my first. Loved it back then and I still do. Anyone know what happened to barb? Is she still writing?

 

One of the first fanfics I read was a Harry/Luna pairing on harrypotterfanfiction.com


It Was something about Harry trying to find and finding the cure to Cruico Coma.

Also Joe6991's Sword of the Hero was my first action/adventure

 

The first Harry Potter fanfic for me was Deflating by bluebottlebutterfly, a soppy Lily/James - I only read Marauder's Era fics for so long ...

And I can't remember a single thing about it now.
