The first fanfic I read was probably some DBZ in 02 or 03. My first HP fic was Harry Potter and the Battle of Wills by Jocelyn. I still like it to this day. And it's the only H/G fic I can stand.

 

My first fanfic I read was also DBZ and it involved Goku doing things to Bulma in a very appropriate way... I mean inappropriate way...
Any way I didn't read that often cause I was younger and people notice when you're guilty of something. After that I stopped going to fanfiction.net for a long time until I was in like the 9th grade

 

Ok i will be very random. The first fic I ever read about 1 year ago now was miygo's Harry potter and the final battle. Fluffy Harry/ginny Ron/Herman everything i now hate but i still love this... why you may ask? Because Harry is uber powerful shotting 40 spells from his palm to obliterate a army of death eaters. Now while i liked Harry/ginny back then*shivver* That fic introduced me to Harry who is powerful (thou whipped unfortunatly) Which slowly changed into a harry who had to work for power to harry who is independant. Now i look back and cant stand certin aspects of that story but love that it placed me onto the path that leed me to here.

 

The first fic I read was after finishing GOF; the title was The Phoenix Warrior, the plot was practically non-existant, the spelling and grammar were abominable, but it introduced me to Azkaban/Harry, Independent/Harry and Superpowerful/Harry.

If it was better written, it would've been one of my favs.

 

Like Liath my first fanfic was Order of the Phoneix by Harrywriter(?) With the sequel being "The Ring of the Ancients" would have loved to read the final book as Dumbledore being Voldermorts Master was a twist that I never saw coming. Never knew what happened but no final book seems to exist

First Harry Potter fanfic... that was actually my friends parody of the Chamber of Secrets ("The Eternal Search for the Lads' Bathroom") because she asked me to read it.

I read my first fanfic at the tender age of 11. It was a Card Captor Sakura fic on FFN. It was only about a month later that I read my first HP fic. I think it was a HPHG or a GWDM. I can't believe I been reading fics for so long. I mean I was 11 and I'm almost 16 now so it would have been in '01 or '02...4 or 5 years.

 

*whistles* that requires some thinking... If I'm not mistaken my first fanfiction was a yuri Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure fic with Mitsuki Rara and Mitsuki Sada because I just googled for Dual! Fanfiction and clicked the first thing I saw. (This was back in 00) Then I found ff.net and the slayers section and fell in love with Ukachana's "Modern Day I" which is a Xellos/Filia pairing and still going. The first Harry Potter fanfiction I read I don't remember but it was a Hr/H and then a H/T.

My first fic? It was some really well written Zelda fanfic back in like 1997. It's long gone now, but it was one of those "one of a kind" (in a good way) fics.

 

My first fanfic that I can really recall was The Naked Quidditch Match. I forget where I saw it, but even with H/G it was pretty funny.

I think it was "Harry Potter & the War Within", and then I went back & read the prequel...I think it was "HP & the Goblin Rebellion" both on FF.net. Then I think was HP & the Power of Time, discovered it wasn't finished, became disillusioned with so many unfinished pieces on FF.net so started looking at different sites. That's how I found you guys!

That was such a long time ago, but I think it was Lori's The Paradigm Of Uncertainty series, followed by a lot more H/Hr. Wasn't till after HPB that I started really liking darker more independant Harry stories, before that I was looking for more canon-like stories.

I still like H/Hr, just not as much as H/Tonks, H/Lesser Known Characters, or (my favorite now) H/Luna.

 

The first time I encountered fanfiction was an X-Files fic waaaaaay back in '96.

My first foray into Harry Potter fanfiction was the Draco Dormein's series (sp?). I can freely admit that I have never been comfortable with the H/G pairing; it just didn't seem believable to me, thus I avoided it. I was more of an H/Hr shipper (and yes, I was one of those who didn't get the anvil sized hints ).

 

My first was DBZ way back when. I got into HP Fics in early 2005 and my first HP fic was either Power of Time by Ross or Dakaath: Prince of Darkness
by LT2000. I still like them both esspecially Dakaath. It was like waking up and realizing that pussy, stupid and fluffy Harry was BORING and Darkness and sex and blood and gore is GOOD!!

 

Well. my first fanfic was "Attention On Deck!", a Robotech fanfic, snif was in 1999. from Harry Potter,well was "The Reluctant Playboy" by Sheyda., too bad it is death.

 

My first was Barb's Psyhic Serpant series on her yahoo group, which I recommend reading, if anyone hasn't. She bitched about ff.net in an author's note, so I went over there and read...and read...and read...
