Not related to the topic of polyjuice. I talked with a friend once regarding the creep factor of love potions, how they are seemingly sold at joke shops but still presented as one of the fundamental reasons for Tom ending up as Voldemort. I imagined that, as we know love potions come in different strengths, the ones sold by Fred and George are weak ones that might only make you want to stay around the desired person for a little while, enough for a "romantic walk in the park" but doesn't impact you enough to make you overly open to suggestions. So they aren't selling magical roofies.
