That said, I would make my horcrux out of Fiendfyre - thus it is made out of one of the only things that can destroy it, so it cannot be destroyed. Or is that too paradoxical to work?

I think worrying about that is taking the thread too seriously In that spirit, I'd make it out of a phoenix - sure, you could try to destroy it, but it'd just keep being reborn.

I'd make mine a seed. An apple seed.

Then I'd plant it. When it's grown into a respectable tree, I'd take the seeds it produces and plant them. Eventually, I'd have a whole forest for my horcrux. Then I'd cut off a limb from the original tree and use it to make a wand or something else I'd keep on my person at all times.

And when they produce fruit, people will be eating a tiny portion of my soul, making them more susceptible to my will.
