I've only ever read one AtLA fic, and that's Embers.

This is an interesting one, a BtVS/Star Wars crossover; Jedi Harris, by The Dark Scribbler. The premise, Buffy and Star Wars? Sounds dumb, but The Dark Scribbler pulls it off well, and his writing is both funny, intriguing and technically sound.

 

Yes! Very good pair of stories. I do love Harry/Fem!Blaise, but can't seem to find a lot of it.

 

Probably because Fem!Blaise is practically an OC and no different than Daphne or Tracey.

One fic I really loved (and has not been mentioned) was The Phoenix and the Serpent by Sanction.
It's a very old fic, started in 2002. Back when I read it I thought it was amazing, not sure how it would hold up if I were to re-read it. Its got a few scenes that have stuck in my mind over the years (Like squib-Flamel killing the beast with his blunderbuss), which I can't say about most of the fics I read when I first got into fanfiction.

 

I agree. Some elements might be really OC/AU these days as a pre OOTP story but in my eyes that's an all time classic. Really high quality work and unique.

 

Pretty sure the only couple DLP has produced is Toure/Ashaya.

Harry Potter And The Next Great Adventure is best Hp/Sg crossover I know. Shame author didn't update it for some time

 

Seriously? I got excited when I read that, so I went to read the fic. It's god-awful.

Not to mention the "advanced training" "fuck tons of money beyond the point of reason" and "wizarding world turns against Harry at the least likely moment" clichés.

It's little more than a guilty-pleasure wish-fulfilment fic. I wouldn't even put it in almost-recommended.

 

It is later revealed Harry used Legilemency. So no instant trust there. First few chapters isn't that good but it gets better. And considerng how little Hp/sg1 wort to mentioning, guilty plesure or no it is still one of the best hpsg-1 cross there is.

 

Its hard to really choose which fanfic would be my favorite....but currently I would definitely have to say its Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality by Less Wrong. That guy should definitely write his own material...other than the web comic thing he did(Which was pretty good as well imo)
