This thread made me go back and reread my favorites. I just finished rereading The Phoenix and the Serpent and its even more awesome than I remembered. The most epic fanfiction ever written, bar none.

(Although as a warning to new readers, the first four chapters are rather bland. But the next three chapters are epic, and the story never looks back after that. Plus, the sugarquill version has better formatting than ffn.net for certain chapters.)
