Mine comes from my deep hatered for Ginny Weasley. It's simple and to the point. I want Ginny to die. That's it.

I don't think so. Read back on what he wrote. Never does he state that the substitute teacher is a WOMAN. The use of the word hot was meant to be misleading methinks.

Brillantly put nonjon. Two thumbs up.

My name is Latin for stag...

I don't particularly know what made me choose that name other than not being very good at making names up. I was originally just going to use stag but someone else was already using it on ff.arse. Then I found a Latin translator and stag became Cervus.

I get to use it in a lot of place too because not then many people use it.

    Mine is latin for God.

I used it just because I liked it. It's just a notch above everything else.... :D

EDIT- I changed it to DaytonDeusBlack to match my username at ff.net.

I just made it up off the top of my head one day when I was writing a story and addded a Miss to the beginning. I think the name I was coming up with was Kita Selarne Malose or something like that...

Contempt was a name I used for this site because I use it on another site, CFC, and I choose it primarily for its meaning.

Yes well I’ll just give you a couple of hints about my name, if you don’t know where it came from already, lad. Are you ready? Here it goes…

    CONSTANT VIGILANCE!

Got it? Good. Even though Alastor Moody is one of my favorite characters, I figured… why have one cool eye when you can have two? Thus Mad ‘Eyes’ was born. The fact that I’m a bit paranoid myself helps a bit as well, I think.

Is your avatar from a LotR movie? Anway Miranda something on FFnet writes Alastor well, but more of a background char.

    mine is tweaked around latin.

Lutris, taken from the genus of many otter species :)
and Argutiae, meaning smart or intelligent or something like that...

Otter, from Ryoto-Ryotter-Otter, as a nickname,

and 'intelligent' from the fact that I seem to have an infinitely higher iq than 99.999999999999% of my classmates.

    Fucking morons.

Yeah, I added to water 'cause it looked cool. I'm still searching for the appropriate font to use for the lettering I’m planning to ad to it. But alas, it has proven to be a fruitless search...for now.
