While DLP has its tastes I wonder what the worldwide public would think of the fics liked here if made into movie. So yeah basically which fanfic do you think would be a blockbuster if made into a movie?

Bungle in the Jungle would work, kinda. I would definitely watch Browncoat, Green Eyes, because you can never have enough Firefly. Or maybe The Dark Lord's Equal by Lens.

A Black Comedy would make a hilarious "what-if" comedy movie.

 

Wand and shield for sure, a Harry Potter meets Marvel it's a safe bet for a great success. And I think To fight the coming darkness would also work fine.

 

The Unforgiving Minute would make for an awesome action flick, IMO.

 

The Denarian Trilogy would make a great sets of 80's movies, if made right.

Other than that, Oz's Twilight songfic masterpiece has already found business success.

 

Since canon was so popular, im sure OTWTG would do just fine as a movie too.

It has to be The Skitterleap. My first through to third readings of it were strangely cinematic throughout, and that hasn't really happened since. Many others would lend themselves better to series/miniseries, I reckon.

 

For a blockbuster, you need a story you can fit into a 2 hour movie. I'm thinking longer oneshots.

I'm thinking Concentric Wavelengths by Voice of the Nephilim. Make it really scary and fucked up. Blockbuster horror - and that doesn't happen very often.

 

It's hard to say if it will be a blockbuster but I would certainly want to watch the Black Heir as a movie ( even with a sequel if the second part is ever finished) and the Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived by Santi would make into a great TV series

 

The Unforgiving Minute. Maybe Elizium for the Sleepless Souls as well.

 

While it wouldn't be a blockbuster, Cauterize would be an Oscar contender for drama.

If Control by Anonymous58 ever gets updated, I think it might make a good movie. Of course it was last updated December 8, 2011. But the author may update. The author has not said or done anything for it to be abandoned or put hiatus.
