I guess I´m odd but Honks has never appealed to me. Either it´s the " want you too look yourself" shit or the fic is pure smut.

Luna is just wierd, never liked here. Also, i never pictured her as hot.

Harry/Daphne is not a pairing, it´s just Harry/hot!Slytherin. No ties to that one.

Likewise, Katie, Su-li or any other of the very minor Hp characters don´t appeal especially to me since we know NOTHING of them and it all comes down to how the author writes them.

Ginny/Hermione/Fleur/Cho is basically the only girls that is not OC´s with a canon name (disregarding Tonks and Luna).
This means that if i see a story with one of these girls in the description i have a vague idea of what to expect before i check out the fic and that is what "liking" a pairing is to me.

Right now I´m a big fan of Harry/Fleur stories, this is mostly from the fact that i read Hope sometime this spring and still havn´t gotten rid of the addiction that formed for Harry/Gabrielle (the Hope version of Gabrielle, not 8yearold!Gabrielle) so Harry/Fleur is a nice way to still the urge. However, it is like taking Cocaine to still my Heroin addiction. IE not working

I think Harry/Madonna is the most vogue pairing. But in all seriousness, it has to be a close one between Harry/Tonks and Harry/Fleur. Personally I'm in Fleur's corner.

I don't care what anyone says, though, Harry/Tonks and Harry/Luna are still amazing pairings.

Tonks adds in a female that actually can do something on her own from the get-go without 'teh DA training!'. This, sadly, ends up most times as Harry learning how 'mature' she is in the sack and holding her as she cries about her multiple lovers who only wanted her because she could make her face look like their past girlfriends. People always say Tonks/Harry is the independent!Harry ship, but Harry isn't any less dependent on her than he was on anyone else. She makes him what he is from the very beginning, be it a sex master or a DoM Unspeakable extraordinaire

Luna adds in the craziness and ability to think outside the box that allows Harry to step away from 'we could have gotten killed, or worse, expelled!'. The end result of any Harry/Luna should be Hermione/Dumbledore's fingers finally finding their way out of his nostrils so he can look around for himself and see what he has to do. Luna seems to be the character that always let's him make his own choices and hands him his pair back.

That being said, Fleur/Harry is by far the most vogue ship right now. Everyone wants him to tap a piece of that French, Veela ass.

I'm serious. I just don't see the appeal. She has no mystique, nothing amazing other than being hot.

 

But she's tormented! No one understands her beauty and the trials that come with it! D:

 

Fleur is a character that can be taken in many different directions. There are aspects to her, that are unique to a very small group of people, which make her interesting as it is. Tonks is the same, but I never liked the H/Tonks pairing.

It's hard to pull it off well, but its definitely possible.

Thanks for the recommendation I am currently reading the fic right now. I like the idea of cat!Harry on the prowl for some pussy. Neville already has Sprout, how come Harry doesn't get a his own hot older (way older) Professor? The Gryffindor Head of House should start living up to her title, no? On a side note the author wrote a story about Harry screwing the shit out of three hot tentacle aliens, so bestiality is just a step up, or a step down, right?

 

Unfortunately we see more of the "no one truly loves me" with H/Fleur or Honks. What I really would like to see is a fic where Fleur/Tonks know people lust after them and use that to their advantage, not some angst-fest bullshit.

 

The best Tonks is an incompetent Tonks. Somehow, super!Auror Tonks really bothers me.

She has to be an Auror, of course, but nobody that can give anyone (including Harry) hoping to duel Voldemort trouble.

 

I think H/Daphne and H/Fleur are both the current pairings that are seeing an increase in stories, though a vast majority of them are pretty crappy, they are seeing a boom.

Curiously enough, I've always liked the H/OCwithaCanonName like H/Daphne, H/Susan.

And I know H/Daphne is really just H/HotSlytherin, so it can technically encompase H/Tracey, but I actually don't like Tracey. Probbly because I've bought into a number of fanon Daphne cliches.

On random crazy ideas, I'd like to see a post-DH AU with no Fleur/Bill and Harry/Ginny with a Dark!Fleur corrupting/enthralling MasterofDeath!Harry.
