just want to know who is everyones favorite character?

Mine is Neville because it is funny watching him make a fool of himself. He is also good at Herbology which came in handy in his fourth year when he helped Harry with the 2nd task

 

No, it didn't.
If one were to read the books instead of just watching the movies, one would know that Dobby helped him. Crouch Jr. planned for Neville to help Harry, but he never did.


As for my favourite, there are many. And it depends on the story I'm reading at the time. If I think about canon, probably Luna or Moody. In fanfiction mostly Tonks, Harry (of course), Luna or one of the Slytherin girls, but that really depends on the characterization. Sometimes Remus, Fleur, Hermione etc. In the end, every Character has the potential to be interesting.

I don't like him, I don't hate him.
For me he's just another of Rowling's shells, waiting to be filled with personality. Again it depends only on how well he is written and there are examples in fanfiction where I quite like him.

Why do you like Fleur? She doesn't really play much of a part.

 

If you actually looked around this site before joining you might have discovered that there is an entire community dedicated to HP/Fleur which is probably why people like her so much. That and the fact that she's supposed to be beautiful, smart, and basically perfect. Personally I'm not the biggest Fleur fan I like her, but I definitely prefer Daphne to her. Daphne, while not the most developed character, seems to have this air of mystery and charm about her.

Dumbledore... for obvious reasons. Harry didn't defeat Voldemort... Dumbledore did.

 

Dumbledore, definitely. He kicks the most arse, he's the true hero of the series, he has so many different aspects to his character that are revealed as time goes by, has an interesting past, he became famous because of his ability, not through luck, he lived a full life, he's very likable despite his manipulations, and is the most quotable character in the series.

 

Dumbledore is one oof the best characters in the HP series. The only fault with him is that he lets Harry do stuff for himself. This is good but not when your trying to take down Voldemort.

 

Unless he only lets Harry think that he's doing stuff for himself, but in fact it has all been planned by Dumbledore, who was extremely good at predicting events.

Which is in fact what we discover happened in the closing chapters of DH.

I think Snape was a good 'character' but it doesn't make me like him any and his reasons for being good were way to cliche and predictable, making his character less solid in my opinion.

 

I never really liked him from the start.

I think Snape is a retarded charecter. Why? He loves Harry's mom, yet, he decides to remember Harry's dad and bully Harry.
