Chase Atlantic is a dark alternative/indie pop band from Australia that fuses those genres with elements from jazz, rock and R&B. They dropped a self-titled album towards the tail end of last year, and they are currently touring in the US now.

 

HOGNI is super cool, I think. Definitely recommend Big Personality, Right Attitude, Bow Down, and Soul Company.

Big Personality is by far my favorite, however. Give him a listen, he's super talented.

 

Tash Sultana is super dope, and put on the best live performance I've ever seen.

Michael Christmas is someone I just discovered. Digging his song Hate the most.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise is also another recent discovery. I liked them so much I immediately bought a concert ticket.

King Fantastic is just a blast to listen to.

Nacho Picasso is a local Seattle dude. Nerdy, comic book references, gangster shit. He's got a bit of everything.

 

If you're into Indie rock there's a band from around here that are tipped for big things. They released a new single today. It's slightly more generic than their other songs but it'll probably be the biggest for that reason alone.

 

The Aces are a pretty good indie band. All girl band that has an 80s pop/RnB feel to it. Reminds me a lot of Haim.
