So on Cerber:

On further reflection it kind of felt like Sloth was more, like, weaponizing his TR of Cerber in order to shade other people (me, Ter) than actually just projecting absolute confidence in his towniness, if that makes sense. Looking back at the quotes I posted from Concussion Mafia he gave more reasoning/elaboration here (and for kind of spurious reasons like the "not coached" thing mendel mentioned). Like he was trying to convince people rather than just stating it as a fact.

For Cerber's part, a lot of his read on Sloth felt kind of like he was just parroting or repeating what other people were saying about Sloth without... actually having any stake in solving or pushing Sloth. One example that stuck out to me was when he agreed that Sloth was like "agitating" people after Mendel said so too.

And like, I know tom strongly townread him and it's probably my fault that I didn't try harder to understand why, but it's also like... if I am right and it's not Vaimes, who is it?


(also, Vaimes, I knew about Concussion Mafia before this game because of a mentor chat, with you, where Newcomb talked about why he scumread Sloth there. Full circle )
