    I was going off the most recent setup post.

    Also, not sure how I feel about so many offensive+defensive roles with such a small game (I guess I can just remove assassin/fortune teller to keep it at 12 roles)

    I believe Pagan gets to pick a role one night and get whatever role info they get. One-time use. Ex: picks gravedigger - "Gravedigger saw tonight that X flipped as Y the previous Day"

    Mistress owner will be joining the game.

    She has another game starting around the 22nd of October.

    But until then she should be able to bleed town regardless of alignment.

    (She needs to get through the sorting hat before she can post)

    Anyone else want to comment on the role list we'll be using? I'm pretty busy right now so preferably will go with what the consensus you guys get to (or I'll YOLO choose between your suggestions if there isn't a consensus).

    Game-start: Roughly Monday afternoon

    Rough mechanics/rules clarification (will be nicely placed in the game-thread's OP)

    Signups Close AND Role Distribution AND Witch Chat opens: A few hours before game-start

    Witch Chat: Always present (for living witches only)

    Angel/Demon Chat: Will see all day/night actions and feedback there is an Angel/Demon present for

    Angel powers: Single protect any given night, Double protect once per game. PROTECT ONLY WORKS AGAINST WITCH-KILL
    Demon powers: Haunt a town and a scum player. Town player cannot be protected that night, town and scum players get priest check results flipped

    Pre-game decisions (Witches role-swap with the extra role, Apprentice chooses): First 48 hours of D1
    *Witches may NOT swap roles amongst themselves. ONE witch may swap with the extra role if decided, but the other witches must keep the role they were assigned by the mod

    Your mechanics tldr is fine except this

    Demons can haunt any two players regardless of faction, and Angels can protect in to Demons if they outnumber them, but cannot protect that player again for the rest of the game.

    Just to be clear, if they haunt two players of the same faction, nothing happens wrt priest check.

    Also strongly advise you to have a pregame for pregame decisions. Can have a big impact if for example a witch gets runup early d1 and the spare witch role is LC or dob (or it'll have a chilling effect on early d1 if town seeks to avoid such a play).

    Also fortune teller sucks and I'd probably go with something like this for roles, dropping the bottom 4 first as necessary.

    Ooh much appreciated mechanics-stuff Kai!

    -I was leaning towards nerfing demons by forcing them to only pick 1 town because of angels only being able to block the night kill (not able to block any other type of kill). Thought it fits better for DLP?
    -Meh. Aight, I'll start pre-game up Monday and real game up Tuesday most likely then (I'll just prepare the post in advance so it doesn't take much Tuesday time up)

    We only "nerfed" angles to prevent degenerate mechanical plays where the angles could save/not save someone from a known KP role (like Hunter) in order to impart the town with information.

    Nerfs are still nerfs though. Angels may see a play coming where town dies and block it, whereas now they are completely dependent on kill-predictions
