    Okay, question.

Does anyone believe Kalas was town?

Kalas was slightly scummier than miner. So...

Until we know for sure, it makes sense to do a more optimal play.

The thing about both owner and Koalas is that as town, they'd have to know how their last ~8 hours or so (when it was obvious they were going to die) would be interpreted.

And since it's a no-flip game, where locking in false worlds can be the way town loses, I just don't really think it's possible that they did that.

Rubicon, what is the essence of your fontisian read here?

    Elevator pitch me.

I’m concerned because Rubicon suddenly decided Font and Kai may be innocent individuals and we must lynch Atum- right after my votal where Rubicon was the leading wagon.

Also, Rubicon seems to have forgotten to vote Atum.

    Why must we lynch Atum?

That's not what I said at all.

Actually I posted reasons for me not to vote any of the current wagons. My goal right now is to figure out who we should be lynching instead.

I... think I got you mixed up with Jari.

Ugh. I'm leaving the thread. I'll be back one day.

I think I'm kind of talking myself into lynching Atum here, despite thinking he's 90-95% town.

It's a combination of not having one person I'm dead sure is scum here, and the fact that vesting Fluff just puts witches in a pretty tough spot. Like, they have to use 2 KP on Fluff, and give town another KP by proc'ing Miner's shot. Either that or let Fluff live for a while and risk him running into a correct red.

I mean, we /could/ punt on Atum and then have him vest Fable later, but that just seems like putting off the thing for less benefit. Priest checks may be subject to WIFOM at this point but with the number of players left they're not /nothing/.

The alternative is firing into the PoE.
Regfan can you link me the fonti/Koalas post that convinced you it wasn't w/w?

Rubicon would be fine, but if we're doing that I feel like I owe it to him to at least read his ISO and try to actually land somewhere more definitive than "welp PoE /shrug."

I'd... probably be okay killing Waco here.

I'm standing by my original read that I don't think his progression on me is at all natural/genuine.

Kai seems like the shruggiest of shruglynches here. I dislike the focus on the whole "why would I put myself in that position as a witch" thing, despite him making a reasonable point, the focus on it kind of negates it. The reads list and overall gamestate thing I want to say is decent? I agree with a ton of it, at any rate. Plus, Kai's LC, so that's... self-resolving, ish?

Although that does dovetail into a minor gripe; I get the whole mechanics of me being self-resolving because lynch me before F4/F3 whatever, sure, but like. I don't want people to just stop considering my alignment, because I tend to discount the actual thoughts of people I've written off like that.

This may be slightly hypocritical of me, but I'd like people to actually get to town on me and seriously consider my thoughts, even if lynching me in the future is something that has to happen.

I'm going to see Guardians of the Galaxy for the next couple hours but should be back before deadline.

Current preference is Jarizok -> Waco -> ... -> Atum.

Is that the whole, "if Koalas/Kai were w/w he'd have just Nursed Kai and shot a bunch of town" thing?

I'm somewhat buying it. The alternative is that bringing it up but not doing it lets Kai coast to endgame but whoops he's LC so that's not happening so yeah he's not at all likely to be with Koalas, I'd say.

    Vote: Atum

    It's the easy way out.

On the off-chance that he's a witch here, pretty sure that hard-clears Jarizok, Regfan, and by extension Cobalt.

He fits Fable's proposed scum!Reg world. And I'm away from my notes rn, but I've had him as leanscum for a while now for reasons. .

I'm also not comfortable lynching fonti or rubicon just yet.

    Awake and catching up.

I disagree with this vehemently, the shot was forced on him, if he doesn't make it he looks really bad regardless of Koalas's alignment and if Koalas is scum he looks even worse post-flip. Given how town read he currently is and the fact that Koalas was going to die one way or another he absolutely shoots him there as a partner. No reason to rule them out at all.

If Koalas was somehow town I'll take the blame for the shot.
