I don't really think that game was indicative of my scum performance improving. I was almost as uninformed as town (which helped a ton), and town crossvoted in LyLo.

But I'm happy I made a good first impression on him as mafia!

It's getting increasingly hard to townread Reg when he keeps proposing we lynch people who are (or have been read as) likely town. But I also agree with him, and hate myself a little bit for it. I think I'd rather test Cobalt, since having a clear Reg would make me feel a loooot better than a clear Delphine/Miner.

If you're genuinely paranoid about Cobalt/Myself I think I can clear myself beyond any reasonable doubt without "testing" us since if you take that route there's not a lot stopping mafia from just night killing me, I don't really have a vest tonight like Miner so it's not particularly the same thing nor should it be necessary? I mean there's no world where I as scum yesterday insist on you shooting Koalas!Scum so we can have the priest have a vest..rather than...just lynching Koalas and shooting Fluff at night.

Not to mention, there's kind of no scum motivation behind any??? of my play??? and if you've seen Jurrasic Park and the scum QT there which I'm sure you have Vaimes, you know that as scum I always plan a "Path to victory" and try and take "Easier lynches" when I can, heck I even considered having Nacho fake claim to have Iso as an easy mslynch to win the game. So if I'm mafia here in a Cobalt+Me+1 world, why am not just fine with town lynching inside Rubicon/Waco/Jarizok/Kai/Fontisian when at maximum only one can be a partner?

So, I've done a lot of hard consideration and thinking about this game mostly last night as I was falling asleep, and...

I think it's just. As easy as it looks???

At least, we have the wiggle room and the time to play it as if it's as easy as it looks, with all of Jari's claims being true and all the townpairs (Delphine / Miner, Me / Regfan) aside from priest/aco also being town. I think we have the wiggle room and the time to work down the PoE and play it safe, and only turn back if it possibly gets to a point where we need to?

So in this conspiracy theory world what was the thought behind scum!Delphine fake-Oracling scum!Miner, only for scum!Owner's wagon to naturally become the lynch? Did Miner and Owner draw straws in scum chat to who was going to be saved? Why did Delphine get to be the Oracle? No offense, Delphine, but you haven't been posting much. Wouldn't the scum team prefer one of the more active players (Kalas, Mysterious Mister X) so they could guide the town to mislynches in the guise of being 'cleared'?

Took out me, fluff, Fable, and Vira.

I really don't think it's Cobalt, so by extension Reg is clear. Delphine is incredibly unlikely to be mafia, so by extension Miner is clear. font/owner interactions point to font being town, but it's not that strong. I need to reread font again. Newcomb is always getting lynched last, so he's whatever (I did say I don't think he's scum with owner, but it's not as strong of a read as I'd like).

I think we lynch / shoot through Rubicon / Waco / Kai and lacking witches there I'd have to say Newcomb or to the very extreme Vaimes, but I won't go there until we have to.

 

Would really like thoughts on Waco based on the two koalas posts I quoted.
