We get Kai + Newcomb + Rubicon flips and a dead Waco for PoE.

Uh, this is the SECOND post of this nature that has seriously pinged me this game. The first was from Newcomb and the second is from Waco.

Like wtf is it with you people acting as though you can say a certain thing and then say "it's not a mislynch"??? And why are you trying to hard to assert that lynching you would be a mislynch???

Town just doesn't do that, for crying out loud. Town doesn't NEED to do that. If they're lynched, they're lynched. The amount of times I've seen a villager assert that they'd be mislynched is vastly outnumbered by the amount of times I've seen scum claim as such to try and skate around it.

We've gotten to a point in this game where I'm vibing the most with Kai right now.

Just let that sink in for a second.

 

Not really possible to beat every world in the game. I'm willing to lose to You/Vaimes/Fonti/Cobalt. I think Delphine/Miner/Waco or Delphine/Miner/Rubicon is the scum team IMO.

Dude, you know I'm town for a fact, you know that I have a pretty level head and am pretty experienced at this game with a p high win rate. At least open yourself up to the possibility that I'm right about Miner-Delphine bring mafia here and read the wall when I post it.

I'm taking Reg as town to the bank; partly for bad reasons and partly for good, I think. We'll see what the exact ratio is after the game.

I think people treating the green check on fonti as if it means anything is pretty dumb. Fonti's... probably not with Koalas, is the best I can do right about now. Fonti/Jarizok and Jarizok lied about Koalas's flip, meh. Koalas really fucked up, if that's the case.

I think Fable/Reg arguing out their Delphine thing is pretty healthy at the moment.

I'm hoping to be able to actually re-read some parts of the game when I get a bit of free time this week, hopefully forgetting all this mechanical bullshit.

But as of now I'm leaning Delphine/Miner town. The benefit to scum in that narrative is so minimal, when owner was getting lynched anyway, combined with how goddamn self-aware / ballsy both of them would have had to be as witches in an environment where frankly they /should/ have been more scared to do it.

And given what I know about Miner's play, I pretty strongly believe in the point I brought up where if they do that play, Miner feels compelled to try harder. Like - from Miner's point of view, his team is putting a lot of eggs in the "Miner endgames" basket; for him to continue limp-noodling throughout the game and getting to the point where we're seriously considering him, when really any degree of focused effort would have cooled people's paranoia /enough/, is just... I don't think he'd do that. I don't think he'd /let/ his team make that play if that was the game he thought he could bring.

Idk, it makes more sense in my head, probably.

Yes, I know you're town for a fact, meaning that all the scumreads that slide your/my way because of this Delphine obsession is going to be something I'll have to combat, but listen.

If Delphine is scum, Miner is also scum because she never clears a townie that is going to die. Meaning, if we kill LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE in the PoE, they won't have Last Stand yet and we'll be safe enough to lynch one and DoB the other if Newcomb is still alive.

So, we are SAFE to write them off as town for now. If we don't win the game by then, I'll turn around on them in a heartbeat, but I think it's much easier for us to just work through the PoE first. Because seriously, Reg, we'll probably win if we do it that way.

Can you please just shelf it for now? For me?
