    Fable re earlier:

I wanted to shoot Rubicon if he wasn't the lynch. Beyond that I was considering Jari and tbh reg.

I mean, yes, there's a very good chance he's mechanically town. But the fact that he refuses to listen to reason from literally the entire thread is just -EV.

Jari because all he's really done these past two day phases is out roles. I also wanna ask re Jari, is the correct play when being peeped to not out it?

---------- Post automerged at 11:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:12 PM ----------

Also, yeah Newcomb is pretty much correct when he says that "Miner would put in more effort as scum."

I mean just compare TH7 with this game lol.

If you're already making a commitment to do this and they're town, then all the last witch needs to do is not use the extra kill til one of miner / delphine is dead.

    Vaimes. (164).

Immediately states he’s not interested in being top poster because if he doesn’t want to read a million, it’s only fair if he keeps low. Ehhh, don’t like, but he goes against this policy pretty quick. Goes after Miner for his defensive reactions. Wants GD to claim D1 because it’s very unlikely scum will go after a non-Priest target (apparently WH7 doesn’t exist). Seriously considers Miner/Font. Decides Atum is town. Thinks Reg’s posts are fluffy and weird, wonders if Fable is a witch. Eventually votes Owner despite barely mentioning her. Doesn’t explain vote, and switches to Miner, then Miner flips and he’s back on Owner.

Votes Kalas out of the gate before Reg and Cobalt flip. Explains his vote on Kalas reasonably. Very eager to Assassinate someone. Wouldn’t move his vote if Kalas Nursed Miner. Declares Rubicon scum. Assassinates Kalas, then votes Rubicon. #2494 is probably his longest post in the game.

I like Vaimes’ confidence. He could be riding a bike across a tightrope strung over a canon and would still eat dinner at the same time. 80% of his posts are one sentence but he’s clearly active and involved. He was also on the Rubicon wagon on D2, so that gives him one million thank you points.

I don’t know his scum game though. People say he’s way more nervous as scum. Could someone link me a couple of his scumgames? Either way, I’m pretty comfortable making him town.

    Jari. (106).

Barely had an entrance. Fence-sitting in regards to everyone in #226. I’m weirded out by him talking about his role like he isn’t it. Was looking for the Acolyte. Thinks Font is jumping the gun on Miner, but “likes her energy.” #318 is boggling. Like, what? It’s so try-hard. Votes Owner before the wagon begins. Finally starts having some actual reads. Votes Fable for his interactions with Fluff, thinks Fable/Fluff is a thing. Confused by Owner. Thinks Fable is way scummier than Owner. Votes Owner after the Miner flip.

Analyzes Miner bandwagon and fence-sits on whether Font is town or scum for this. Argues we should run up Reg with Owner.

I want to lynch that smilie and everyone using it.

Says Reg looks bad on the Miner wagon and Cobalt was sheeping. Gets defensive when people question what the heck he’s doing, then gets beat up. Votes Kalas on D2. Brings up scum Miner/Delphine conspiracy theories that Delphine shouldn’t be vested. Disappears for years then votes Atum, isn’t sure of his alignment, but assures me down the line he’ll vote Atum over Fluff. Wants to see flip info before going on Rubicon or Font.

His lack of presence on D2 deserves a lynching. Once I’m done tying Rubicon to this pole, perhaps Jari can go up next to him.

Cobalt, you're forgetting Miner has a vest, requires 3 lynches/kills to sort both of them, include last stand after one dies etc and we can't actually shelve them and given I really think they're scum I won't. But I will be explaining the read in detail and you're welcome to explain what you disagree with.

@Waco, Fonti having used her PT shot is eh. I still think Jari/Delphine are unaligned so I see some gain in still doing this.

Newcomb I mean I'm glad you've got me as town but sell me a world where me, you and Delphine are town? And I actually like Fable a lot as a player do shouldn't be an issue.

I have a feeling that if we haven't won the game by then, F5 will probably be vira, cobalt, regfan, miner and delphine.

Which is both hilarious and awful.

Perhaps, but in Town!Delphine scum!jarizok worlds, doesn't this give scum an incentive to lie about Delphine because it forces town to commit to using 2 kills on Miner?

Jarizok was lying about Koalas, he's a witch with owner, fonti, and Waco.

Rubicon/Waco/Jarizok are frantically bussing each other to get the last one to Last Stand ASAP.

fonti/Vaimes are playing out of their minds, fonti is keeping Vaimes posting like this with a whip and a chair, they purposefully faked their initial burst of posts at each other, and then just dropped it after the thread got to not w/w

Kai is a witch with exactly Cobalt and Vira and they've been deftly setting up Vira as the endgame carry.

Jan self-shot as mafia and that's why the pieces don't quite seem to fit together.

With Miners vest itd be autoloss.

We could just Lynch Jarizok and confirm 3 wolves are dead then. Rubicons apprentice report creates pretty definitive worlds.

The only reasonable lynch options for today (in order) are Waco, Jarizok, and Kai/Newcomb (together). Or me for PoE, but that sucks.

There is almost always 1-2 witches in this group.

I don't think we should lynch Delphine, and in fact if there is a lying witch among the confirmed town pairs, it's vastly more likely to be Cobalt and regfan than Delphine and miner.

Don't shoot reg basically ever, he's 99% a villager here and I'm not seeing anymore villagers purposefully killed for dumb reasons.

Rubicon and Jar are both reasonable shots, I need to weigh my case for jar being a villager on d1 against what he's done recently and figure where I actually stand there.

The best thing to do today is lynch waco and miner shoots rubicon tonight. Rubicon's flip is less relevant than Waco's imo.

I'm willing to LC anyone that regfan and newcomb agree on tomorrow.

    I don't see how Delphine/Miner/Koalas can be a thing.

This so clearly looks to me like Koalas trying to subtly move in for the kill on Miner.

This is after Delphine's started softing the Oracle stuff.

Like... the level of deftness to go after a partner with this kind of tonality when you know the plan is to yoink the lynch off him in like 24 hours is...

I really struggle to see witch!Koalas playing that well in one capacity (a sick, deft partner interaction) and that poorly in another (pushing nothing and being wolfy in general).

---------- Post automerged at 10:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 PM ----------

So like. Waco's pretty likely scum here.

In Delphine/Miner worlds, Koalas/Waco if either of them are with Delphine here would be aware of the plan to save Miner. It cannot have been a snap call, Delphine's softs prove that.

And yet they're both shading Delphine mid D1. When the plan is the use Delphine's towncred to clear Miner.

    ????????

---------- Post automerged at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:33 PM ----------

I just want to say, for the record, that if Rubicon's town here, I got to it when everyone wanted to lynch him.

I think the response to me here with that GIF after I said that just. Idk, I have a strong feeling he'd have added something, if mafia. Used it to push me, question my enthusiasm for the game. I mean, it kind of was a lazy read of me.

Or, like, explain himself, try to get me to see his "mindset".

But nope it's just rage.gif because people accused him of being robotic last game and he said he wanted to work on it, and I said that, and that was his reaction.

It's kind of a stupid read, but it's honestly the strongest I've felt about Rubicon in either direction this game.

So, go ahead and PoE him, I don't feel strongly enough about it to go to bat for him, but if he's town here, I want it on record that I wasn't just not caring about him at all.

---------- Post automerged at 10:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:37 PM ----------

Do you think we can solve the rest of the game via just behavior if we don't have / can't trust the flips?

Just to let you know, I’m going to be away for the whole day tomorrow. I may be able to post once in the early morning, but then I’ll be gone for fourteen hours.

Please don’t burn down the thread.

    Thanks in advance.

It's really not going to be that impressive. I haven't paid a ton of attention to you. Nothing personal, other people have stuck out more I guess.

I think I liked how you handled owner, in that if you were her partner, you'd have either hard-defended her (less likely, probbbably) or bussed her so hard she'd be covered in tire tracks. And you didn't, you just sort of swished the idea of her around in your head and sorta decided you didn't think she was town.

Which I think is good, but at the same time it doesn't feel good enough. Like I need something more, something bigger or more definite to townread you. Sometimes you get really subtle but accurate reads on people, but I don't trust myself not to be incredibly naiive with my reads.

    That's it, really.

(Busy with homework but wanted to get this in before too many more posts happened.)

    That's disappointing.

By the way, this exercise isn't about you clearing me, it's about me clearing you. Like I said, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and give Reg a 100% by the end of D3 read.

Was kind of hoping for one of those insights I think you just can't make as mafia.

Do you have one of those laying around?
