I'm gonna catch up tomorrow, since I only got like four hours of sleep last night.

I have the day off and the most strenuous task I plan on completing is laundry, so plenty of time for mafia.

My concern here is that it's ~20 hours until deadline and the leading voter is currently on 3 votes with 10 being required for a lynch, I don't want a situation where there's two smaller wagons on people likely to be scum ie. Miner/Owner and one of the other wagons somehow drags traction with everyone jumping on it "To secure a lynch" leading towards a mslynch; best to actually maintain as many votes as we can on Miner.

Question for the thread to ponder overnight:

Witch!Miner plays like this without getting bussed into the ground __% of the time.

 

Miner hasn't had more than 5-6 votes at any point during the game day, a lot of people have given him room to move to a degree. Owners vote isn't on Miner, she's moved it away from him on Jarizok and Owner hasn't had more than 3 votes at one time either. I don't think there's anything gameflow wise that points against them being partners.

With Vaimes having had moved away from him (He's moved back now though) and Cobalt likely to vote you based on his catch up so far (Looks like he's not thankfully based on his above post) it could have been a 4-4-3-3 type vote with 10 to lynch which is never a good idea here, scum have a lot of power in a position like that.

Overall a solid start. I thought the Rubicon and Newcomb parts were interesting.

I disagree with the comment about Jarizok being scummy for saying the thread should move off Miner for a while. I thought it was good in terms of promoting discussion in a new direction rather than just circle on Miner.

Newcomb - I'll make sure that the lynch is between Miner/Owner, don't worry about that.

@Waco - If you're rereading Jan overnight one of the concerns I have with Jan is identified inside Viras vote count above, marketplace was lost because townies didn't have votes up and didn't push lynches to the degree they should have. Jan himself was pretty harsh on himself not having a vote down or pushing what he believes in post-game and has mentioned here he doesn't plan on repeating that mistake; it doesn't show though. His vote is effectively still his RVS vote on me which turned into a scum read and then he morphed into a weak town read on me while maintaining his vote there.
