I was already scumreading Fluff, which is why it'd be likely you were partners there.

    I am confused.

I mean you might be right with 3 witches in there.

I am fine with removing the likely villages. Not sold on cobalt, but his play so far reminds me more of his first wh game here where he was playing really towny and was wrong on every read than any other game I played with him or saw him play.

Kai and fluff can go either way .. but at worst it would still leave 3 witches in your PoE outside of them.

    Now talking about the PoE.

I don't know exactly why, but I think there is not more then 1 witch between Regfan, Fonti and Newcomb.

No really good reason, just the way Regfan talked to/about Fonti early on
And Regfan/Newcomb interacting and guessing teams.
Very loose reads .. but that leave Fonti/Newcomb ..

Possible, but I don't think it is a thing .. mostly gut .. weird things in my head and Fonti asking Newcomb to recheck the stuff Regfan did.

So while that is loose .. but I will just assume it is right because of vanity reasons.

That leaves 2-3+ witches in :

    Jarizok
    Koalas
    Owner
    Rubicon
    The Waco Kid

I have townreads on both Rubicon and Jari.
    Jari i mentioned earlier.

Rubicon mostly for some of his interactions.
The way he dropped my name several times when talking to others did not feel like him pocketing and just like him arguing comparing and giving reads.

That townread is the weakest, but it is there.

I can see Owner and Koalas. Have Wacos Iso open at the moment .. we will see about that.

So, complete unwillingness to answer my question, got it.

IF I AM TOWN, what does that make Fluff in your assessment of the situation?

Please don't say that Fable, I really want to townread you.

Already had a light V read on him but he's done the most with the knowledge that miner is a villager IMO and while I disagree with his conclusions I think the processes looked fine. Also I kinda like how willing he is to put himself out there.

Believe me I understand the reads on jar but I'm not into lynching someone for having lolreads if I thinks the reads are genuine.

If you're town there, he could be going for the early read for towncred.

Or he could really think you're town for that 1 post.

I mean, if you're town, he doesn't know your alignment. Your town alignment doesn't make Fluff anything.

I'm not sure I get what you're going for here.

Thank you, you just DIRECTLY contradicted your Fluff read because everything you said here comes from a Fluff being town perspective.

If he is scum, he knows my alignment. Only the first line of what you said considers that possibility. After that, you say him not knowing my alignment means that my alignment doesn't affect his. However, if he doesn't know my alignment, he's town, because a witch knows my alignment.

What I'm more inclined to believe is that YOU know FLUFF'S alignment. Because you are a witch, and should die. K thanks bye

---------- Post automerged at 01:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:32 PM ----------

I think the way Jarizok is indecisive and noncommittal about his reads is clearly scum indicative, especially because when pressured into elaborating further he directly contradicted his original premise.

That's not a town mindset. That's scum scrambling to answer questions and look good.

You sayin I directly contradicted my fluff read doesn't make it so? I already gave you my scum!fluff scum!you option. The other options are scum!fluff town you, and town/town. Scum!fluff townreading you there is always for towncred.

If he doesn't know your alignment, he'd obviously be town and your being town wouldn't affect my read of him there fmpov.

I don't think the way he just decided to build the entire witch team around me but I might be biased.

It's funny that my townread on Jari got stronger for his clumsy way of expressing himself.

I thought his initial reasoning was valid and the way people jumped on it was somewhat awkward and stupid.
I can't believe he messes up an explanation to something so basic as scum.

It is also fun that Cobalt has no idea what a "town mindset" is .. but that is for another day.

I forgot that this post happened a while back, hm.

I liked Waco's early miner stuff better than Newcomb did; not sure that it's not just bias. Waco's reaction to last night's events I'm more meh on. He was going on for a while about who to reread/focusing more on, like, later game stuff than miner. In terms of miner stuff just said something like "miner hasn't done anything to make me like him lately" and then memed during the interim between my verse and my claim. Seems potentially like him being a tad frozen by scum TMI, although I'm probably in the weirdest position to be assessing that.

As a side note, I feel p good about Newcomb and Waco being unaligned for various things on both their ends.

---------- Post automerged at 10:50 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:45 AM ----------

I guess I mean, Waco's miner stance last night seemed really bland compared to how miner-focused and pro-miner he was initially.

---------- Post automerged at 10:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:50 AM ----------

I'm curious if fluff actually has remotely read the entire thread or if he only reads/responds to real-time stuff.

Why do people like you think that scumslips don't happen and that people who speak oddly or make bad responses are too awkward to be a witch?

I think you're making excuses for him.

Vira's post didn't ping me out so generally that's a good sign. Making observations and asking questions is good. It's the kind of playstyle I'll get bored of. Jan on the other hand is lively and full jokes.

    easy going, fun...nai though

null, *tries to remember what scum!vaimes looks like* or did I just watch a game where he was scum. He was Town in Teen Wolf and Scooby Doo.

    (from post 163)

Vaimes gave his town read on Vira just a few minutes after fonti called Vira town.

    (from post 164)

    (from post 198)

several posts later, Newcomb agrees. so null again

I don't see HF as being stiff. Calculated maybe but I think that's nai though. Vira's earlier posts were more fun. I did enjoy her sass, but I guess I want everyone to be more fluffy and sassy as that's more fun.

Light town, saying something like that would have to be aware. Or I feel like saying something like that would be harder to do as a witch.

I especially don't care for this part. If you see something like that, you don't claim it. You are still fairly new, but I don't know you should maybe know this by now.

This stood out to me. Sure, it seems very nai to you, but the reasons behind doing it so much would be to eventually get away with it one day. Also, you saying that it's nai would mean I'd have to trust you to tell the truth there in the first place.

I do like to take things at face value, but mafia has made me rethink that sometimes.

Hey Regfan, guess which post I just read for the first time this game?

    ^this one^

I disagree with Jan about b. I feel like town can throw together a post about mechanics. I would say yes mafia probably does use mechanics as crutch more than town, especially if mechanical talk looked down on. Or on PerC, a lot of times mechanical talk is looked down on to a certain extent. But I feel like in WH there are probably certain strategies that are a cut better than the rest.

Or at least in the mechanical based games I design, there's usually a few strategies that would really go well to help alignments win the game. Sorry I'm rambling again.

The let fonti finish the work part was something I glossed over because I thought regfan was giving her the reigns because she was likely more well informed. But that does make me wonder why fonti and not someone else? Or as you say Newcomb, Kai, yourself, Rubicon, Waco and Koalas aside from fonti would likely know the best strategy as well.

---------- Post automerged at 02:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:16 PM ----------

Sometimes with playing games which are 70+ people or upwards I get into the mentality of focusing on the most recent stuff before getting back or catching up on older posts. But when I'm at my best it's more of combination of catching up and keeping up to date with the present stuff.

I'll be going to work shortly and I *might* be able to pop in briefly but it's more than likely I'll be gone past EoD.

As an FYI I'm leaving now to go to work and my access for the rest of this phase for me will be spotty at best. I'll try to get my shit more together overNight but I still am feeling fairly deflated/exhausted.

Sure. But scum can write agreeable things.

Does anyone know if Newcomb's getting back before deadline? I want him to look at those posts without me biasing it, but I also want to get my thoughts out there. Maybe Jan or Rubicon could look?
