To clarify my thought process from yesterday. I'd constructed my thoughts early in the game around my Miner theory, and my reaction to Miner's return was similarly dismayed as you expressed in #1070, at which point I posted the "Miner hasn't done much to make me like him lately, and began to wonder if I'd completely screwed up the read. Your claim, clearing Miner, was simultaneously a relief, but also left me frustrated in that I felt I had wasted a bunch of time because of how Miner played his return.

Do you have any other questions for me?

 

Okay let me see if I have this straight fonti.

We started with a miner wolf read with later lighter wolf reads on me and Rubicon. Somewhere along the way not only did you stop wolf reading rubicon but you now trust him enough that you want him to look into things for you.

Later we still have miner and me as wolf reads but add owner to that. You also state at one point if Reg is a wolf you think jar is too.

Now you're voting Reg but want jar left alone. Do I have all that right?

 

Delphine, when you read the Newcomb/Reg interactions, do you think there's a chance he's pocketing or do you think he's just excited to interact with someone he thinks is town?

Why does wanting someone to look into things for me make them town? Rubicon's answer can tell me as much about his alignment as it does about Reg's.

I think Jari is objectively town regardless of anyone else's alignment.

I'm also curious as to the reasoning on Owner and Reg not being aligned, because I did not read that argument and really do not want to.

The top five have been explained by me or others, and I'm happy leaving it at that unless someone (like Cobalt) has questions.
Atum, while really towny initial, has had his activity fall off, and I'd like for him to earn his place in the towncircle.

With Jan, it's a bunch of small things, but he actually sounds like his video mafia town self. The stuff today, for example, where he argued against a Reg wagon because it wouldn't be useful while talking about why he scumread Reg and the part where he talked about feeling like Newcomb and I aren't aligned are, I think, indicative of his townplay.

With Newcomb, I liked the initial joke about Reg leeroying him and his reaction to Delphine's claim. That's basically it, shrug.

Cobalt has the kind of energy and conviction I'm used to only seeing from his townself, but I hate giving him free passes for past shitty play, so, yeah.

 

Owner and Reg are not aligned for the back and forth between 699 to 7something. Owner's attackroute there about suboptimal mechanics up to Jack Sparrow was just straight up never between partners.

 

I feel like that's underestimating Owner.

 

I guess my problem is your reg vote doesn't really mesh with this post and there was only one thing you mentioned you didn't like in between.

All those are about me, but not really directed at me.

I have trouble seeing scum!Rubicon reading me this way in a game like this, when he is getting nothing from it.
He is not doing it in a direct way to pocket me, it is very indirect towards others, when I should be a possible misslynch for him.

Odd line of thinking for scum. Weak read and very personal.

The fact that his first thought is "the more likely alternative" is delphine being scum is odd.
The most likely thought should be she is town and speaking the truth and everything else should be the outside worlds.

Like .. I could see him doing that just so he can keep a world open to push lategame, because he knows he needs some misslynches.
