    Yeah kinda disappointing tbh.

If owner is a witch her coven has completely abandoned her, dunno what to think about that.

Ok, but the thought process Delphine had to have had was already clear from Newcomb's post, so your annoyance seems out of place.

My thing is just, why not interact with me at all while you knew I was still online if you were actually unsure and wanted to get more out of me about it? Why have you not addressed whether what I have since said about my claim answered your concerns?

Disagree. I think the wording there is important.

Held off on doing too much reading overnight because I want complete confirmation that Owner was scum before I start doing some deep interaction analysis and rereads though given the way she went down I think it's very likely she's scum especially given her Post #1330 and the difference in her play when getting run up D1 in MM#1 and here. Pretty sure having Gravedigger claim as early as possible here and confirming it is the right play.

Also think having the Watcherman claim with his innocent is a decent move, if we can secure a town read on the Watcherman and the Priest/Acolyte duo are still alive it's plausible for us to have 6-7 clearances here giving us pretty much a lock win.

Delphine - I didn't interact with you after your claim because I'm certain enough that you're town based on your play, the lack of real scum motivation behind making your claim, your interaction with Miner before the claim (In what Newcomb brought up) and after the claim to comfortably lock you in as town. Pretty much interacting with you was and still is a low priority if mine - wanted to focus on getting a better grip on Jan, posting my Owner read and responding to Fonti with the limited time I had. I'd have liked you to be the one to get around to linking your posts re; Miner while knowing he was town yourself, it didn't happen, it's shitty because suboptimal play like what Newcomb did aggravates me even if his intentions were good and pure (It's why some parts of Marketplace were so hard for me to mod and watch) but it is what it is at this point.

fontisian - I'm going to make this one final post to you because I think you're town here and I think running through this one more time might help, outside of this I don't plan on interacting with you again this game given it's more likely to frustrate me than anything else. You're ignoring the actual progression of my thoughts post-Delphine claim, I switched to Owner within ~3 minutes inside Post #1022 because initial assessment was that it's a move that doesn't make sense as scum, Vira asks for a counterclaim inside Post #1023 and inside Post #1030 is my response stating that a counter claim isn't a thing inside this setup and scum fake claiming the target is more plausible than that while elaborating on my reasoning behind her not being mafia and I've explained my frustration and thought process about what Newcomb did inside Post #1040 several times now. I've been pretty transparent with my thoughts and well and truly left my scum range in terms of emotion/passion seeping into the thread at several points so you should be able to recognise that I'm town here if you actually go through my ISO.

Probably going to take a step back entirely today and just focus on rereading once we've had a Gravedigger claim and a Watcherman one too if we're taking that avenue which I don't see any large reason not too, sure it narrows down the priest for scum but if we town read the player that has the role we're in a fantastic position.

That was not the night kill I was expecting at all, I'd convinced myself that Newcomb was getting shot and was going to post a gif for the first time ever in a game.

Also does wolf!reg really shade jan as hard as he did only to NK him? Not a line of play I would expect though I suppose he could have been overruled.

    Day. Alive. Post.

I said I would make a full readslist, but that was before I realized Night was only 24 hours. So you get a rambling three-person readslist. Take it and be grateful.

    Waco. (83).

Going into this as more of a refresh than a reread. Seems like regular Waco. Enters casually, a bit annoyed at how fast the game is going. Hits Fable out the gate. I immediately see why I can’t really remember him. He has two pages of posts and the first page is 80% fluff. Jesus, Waco.

Votes for Fable and doesn’t give much of a reason. Leaves vote on Fable after his breakdown, then goes after Newcomb for weird tone, reasoning, and enthusiasm. WH7 still triggers me too, so I understand this. Vote’s Owner after Oracle flip, and that’s it.

There’s not much here. He’s not being scummy, I just don’t have much to comment on. I look forward to his overnight readwalls if he doesn’t continue the tradition of dying N1.

    Fable (123).

I looked at that game you posted. You’re 100% a witch because you clearly come from a magical place where you can click a button and get someone’s ISO. Otherwise, your vanilla town self in that thread looked similar to your game here. Stubborn and refusing to give ground.

Thread entrance is good. Casual, jokey. Willing to play along with Delphine’s gimmick. Prefers Gravedigger to claim D2 like a sane person. Says in #256 he’s played the 4th most games on MU, which is ehh because you’d think he’d be better with pressure but as long as it’s consistent... States in #313 that he doesn’t sheep; seems legit. Biting at the bit to share his reads and I like the enthusiasm and willingness to share. Decides in #447 that Miner’s statements regarding Font probably aren’t scummy due to the lack of purpose. Doesn’t like how Font thought Miner’s statements were scummy and she’s automatically scumreading Miner due to meta. Defensive regarding Font’s scumread on him because he believes she doesn’t have good reasons.

I think Fable overreacted to Font’s read on him, but knowing Miner is town, he looks much better in hindsight. I don’t like how he shut down and grouped all his accusers as a clique, then continued to say as such after he came back to the thread. I understand frustration, I’ve had to back away from the computer many times when playing mafia, but it’s an attitude I lynch out of spite. My scumread on him was mostly because of his defensive behavior rather than his reads. However, everyone going against Fable overreacted as well. I know what he was trying to say now and he had some reason to act the way he did. I don’t condone it, but it’s not scummy.

In general, I like how Fable asks questions, follows up on them, and goes out of his way to research players, like asking Newcomb for a scum game of his. He likes activity and interacting with people, and favors the ones that explains their thought processes. He keeps his mind open.

So he’s gone up a lot in my scale of non-scum and scum. If he disappoints me I’m kicking him off a cliff and no one can stop me.

    Reg (101).

Kicks open the doors of the game with a mechanics post and avoids fluff entirely. Proceeds to claim that scum are most vulnerable in early game where they have to post fluff and do their own thing, despite Reg sabotaging his own strategy. Don’t like. Excuses himself in #131 because it’s an important topic to discuss in early game, which doesn’t make sense. He brought this up three hours into the Day when many people hadn’t even posted yet, when he could have waited a day for things to settle down. Using his own logic, he’s the one who seems the most vulnerable.

To be fair, he doesn’t post fluff at all. Maybe it’s a thing. Someone look at a Reg game and tell me.

Wants GD to claim D1 because there’s very few downsides (there’s also very few upsides). In general Reg posts a lot of walls with sourced statements that makes the history major in me very happy. Has a ‘definite’ way of saying things, like:

It’s always felt weird. A day into the game he’s already come to his conclusions, and he words it like nothing will change his mind. That read on Miner in particular looks bad now that Miner’s confirmed town.

Before the Miner flip, I was pretty okay with it. Reg has always felt a lot like Typhon with his posting style of walls, walls, and walls, and also constantly connecting with people. I backtracked on my Typhon scumread when I re-read, but here, Reg looks worse.

Reg posts walls constantly and my eyes glaze over automatically. Maybe it’s because he prefers linking posts than quoting (making them walls instead of responses), but they’re wordy and hard to read, and I’m sure I’ve missed twenty different things but I don’t care at this point.

Votes for Miner. I don’t like this quote:

It’s meta and hard to prove either way.

Reg’s reaction to Delphine’s claim seems fine to me. His posts afterwards are like him trying to work through whether it’s real or not.

Mixed feelings on this. Why drop your own reads without reading the rest of the posts? The reads would be out-of-date. On the other hand, it’s best to drop a readslist in case you die during the night, but he never dropped the readslist. Maybe he caught up? I dunno, I’m tired.

And that’s all you get. For now. I will re-read Rubicon, Jan, and Jari for mid-D2, but actually not Jan because he’s dead.
