What was the context?

 

Oh have you not gotten to the messy part of the game yet?

Yeah was burnt out and was playing poorly so asked for people to vote for me to get me motivated to start doing stuff....then I self voted again when they took that the wrong way......and then I did it a third time out of frustration when people suggested I could be aligned with tom for w/e reason.....

I've been having kind of a bad time.

 

Self voting as a motivational tool. Huh. That has the virtue of being at least one of the more novel reasons I've seen.

Did you get any reads off how people reacted to it?

Time for statistics town. Since jwlk/silver never posted and were never voted for, that slot will be excluded from things like "the only people who never voted for x were y and z" and stuff.

The only people who never voted for Tom were Acio, Newcomb, and Jari.

The people who voted for Tom outside the CFD were dC , Dya, Fable, Fluff, Kai, Miner (x2), Owner, Rubi, Vaimes (x2), and Wei.

People who didn't vote for Tom during the CFD but had already voted for him earlier in the day were Wei, Owner, Miner (x2), and Fable.

Tom did a lot of vote swapping, but did not vote for Citrus, Newcomb, Jari, Kai, Miner, Rubi, or Vaimes.

Want stats on anyone else? Tom is confscum so I decided to do this first. If you want other, like, non-CFD stats on Tom, you can request that also.

Fable is either lock town or Tom was trying to signal by voting him a lot, and I don't know which. ._.

Also, none of this looks good for Jari. It's nice to have your li'l tunnel cave home supported by analysis.

 

I mean dya was the only one that actually did what I asked but that read doesn't seem too useful now.

Acio and Vaimes thought it was fake which pissed me off more than anything.

Also I might have claimed one of those times I self voted too, dunno if anyone told you that.....

 

The backlog has broken my spirit. (still not done, but I have to sleep now)

Can we just . . . lynch Fable? He seems like a great lynch.

I'd also take Jarizok if beruru's snippets are convincing to anybody else.

If it must be between Kai and Citrus, I'll be voting Citrus.

Because knowing your alignment tells me nothing about any of the current wagons until after you've played some. And unless we decide as a group that all the current wagons are on town so we should CFD one of the missing-day-one people, you're not going to be one of the end of day wagons. Like, I have limited resources for being paranoid here. Maybe that's too /reasonable/. The only situation where I'm going to spend effort on being paranoid about you toDay is if I have to leave a last will and testament about the final votal for my mislynch.

I do feel like you're onto something here.

Also I take it you think jari looks bad for having no interaction with tom in either direction? Knowing tom that's not the worst logic and it kind of makes sense for jari too, he's still probably a villager though. He's more antagonistic as a wolf which I haven't really seen I don't think, unless he has been and I haven't been paying attention again.

That's not what that says. It says those were either votes for votes' sake or they had some other purpose. Your alignment doesn't have to be there. (you can still be JW with Jari, though)

 

In a vacuum pf looking only at votals I suppose yes it could be interpreted that way.

However at some point along the way I feel like even if it looked like signaling it looked a lot more like tom trying to murder me at EoD.

I had plenty of interaction with tom in all directions! I just didn't vote for him because I was townreading him. I was wrong so yeah, that looks bad, but noone can say I didn't interact with tom. Tom and I, we were having long talks about Brian, and Zealot gifs... Also content.

Well I'm not currently town reading him, and I have yet to really look into him beyond gut read of lean scum. So by PoE of town reading almost everyone else he might be a LW/EW.
