Fable pushes back on weiy's case...I think I actually buy most of Fable's responses, but I also think they're more of the "this point does not hold up as proving I'm scum" variety (i.e. the result isn't "I think Fable is town", it's "if Fable is scum, it's not for the reasons weiy presented")

This post pinged for me, but like...I'm not sure in what way? There's a total lack of wine consideration (i.e. attempting to read anonymous scum!Hunter's behaviour) and I don't know whether it's town for unimaginative or Citrus is the Witch Hunter and Fable is coaligned scum. (Or the other way around, I guess?)

Kind of feel like leaving Fable for PoE is dangerous because if he IS town he'll probably just end up being the XYLO mislynch. Like, there's a good chance he's scum and in worlds where he's town leaving him alive isn't even that good. He's a classic vig target, in other words (hence the whole "shoot him with Hunter" thing)

Interesting trivia fact: If Spiritualist also claims, we can shoot and check Fable on the spot which might be worth doing. Unfortunately PT can't claim, but we can instruct them to peep for dead info tonight if they are alive.

What about assassinating Fable and lynching Citrus

...uh. Could we assassinate Fable and no lynch? I mean that's equivalent to the Assassin not activating and lynching Fable I guess, except if it turns out he's BSing about Zealot we find out before running him through and also the Assassin shot is used up.

Other main option is to assassinate Fable and lynch a prospective LW to see if we can knock out all the LWs before Halftime. Only problem is, I don't really know who the best prospective LW is right now since my main other read is Elder!Citrus...

The only case where he fake claims Zealot without a CC is if Fable is an Elder Witch and they discarded Zealot at the beginning of the game.

The Hunter is scum, right? They didn't claim.

Fable cannot be LW with the Hunter. He does not have an alibi, but as a witch, he would have directed the kill differently. Therefore, the Hunter would be Coven if Fable was a LW.

Since you're the only one who would have made those kills,

unless LWs are precisely dC/fluff,

you are the Witch Hunter.

... I mean, if dC/fluff is Juniors, you're still Coven. But I guess... you might not be the Hunter? That's a perfect storm, though.

 

Again, if you're town, you really need to be re-evaluating your worlds, because the first part is incorrect and I totally disagree with dC being a witch in any world.

I'm gonna claim, but I'm not doing that before kai uses his Assassin shot. So actually think about other worlds instead of locking me in as the witch hunter. Unless you're a witch, in which case go ahead and do nothing.
