I've been assuming they made the kills because Miner and Silver were doing the "you're never going to be able to lynch me" dance all day yesterday. Miner's been doing it all game, but he did it at least twice and quite visibly at that. Silver only started then.

Well.

Fable probably would have shot the people he thought were actually Holy, especially if he had Hunter control and knew that it was one of the only times to be able to shoot through Angel Protection without a confirmed role. He already almost threw the game by claiming and going AFK. I'm hoping that a Fable here would have learned his lesson and taken that 50/50 on who he thought was Priest.

Kai with KP may have done it, I suppose. Is my read on "he should have shot me" called a self-tunnel? Dude needs a partner, though.

Owner and Newcomb already claimed Agent, so them claiming Hunter would have been fine.

I already covered the other two.

Of course, it can't be me, either.

So. That adds Kai to you and Fluff as candidates.

If it's not you, then it's Kai/Fluff.

That's just the world it has to be!

 

And you know Fable didn't think one of Miner/Silver was holy because...?

Also if you have a mechanical clear on Citrus/Vaimes I think we need to hear about it at this point b/c following your PoE from my end leads me to conclude Citrus is scum instead.

Like. Lemme be clear. I think me/fluff/weiy are all town, I think the Hunter could in theory be any of Fable/Citrus/Kai/Vaimes/you, and I don't think you have any actual hard evidence to disprove that?

 

Vaimes/Citrus/Beru contains Priest/Acolyte/Inquisitor (in random order). It is impossible for any of us to have access to a kill, because at least one of the other two would be dead.

If you want us to claim which one is which, that's fine.

However, I think that's a bad idea.

By the way, Fable obviously wasn't Holy. That's why I wasn't worried about him - if he tried to CC Bishop, I'd just have jumped out of the bushes and sent him on a one-way trip to the sun.

Or, you know. Whichever one is the actual Inquisitor would have done that.

Agents and Holies shouldn't be in the same game.

Either have one or the other, imo.

 

Here's a thought: Agents ARE literally the Priest/Acolyte? Kind of overloads those players though...

Yeah that's basically what I'm talking about. There's balancing knobs to tune (Masonchat/Both know each other/Only one knows the other one/they have no idea) and the bit where the Elders have a pool containing two allies and the Priest/Acolyte pair is pretty hilarious.

Not sure what the best overall way to balance it would be but I could see it working?

If no one's going to take me up on this, then I'm probably completely checked out of this game and just going to sheep Vaimes from now on. I browsed his posts since I replaced in and I think this is his towngame. It's not the most confident I've ever been, but it's good enough for me.
