Possible reasons off the top of my head
1) I had a much larger wagon
2) Thread consensus was moving against me at the time
3) You can't just sit on Tom all day and expect that to not look bad down-the-line, vs. doing some vote movement of some sort

Also, no. If I'm scum and someone is defending me, I don't go for them. Ever. I camp out and campaign for another wagon, however little traction it gets.

I can't take a scumread on people who stick up for me. I don't think I've ever done that as scum, but I don't have a clear record of my past games, so.

I remember trying to bus tom for two game Days in Three Little Pigs and it was the most miserable experience of my forum mafia life.

 

Cases aren't something I strongly associate with Vaimes.

Not that he doesn't do them, but the absence of them isn't actually an issue the same way it would be for say Newcomb.
