I read the changes block. I read 1 time through on the halftime stuff. I kind of gave up or stopped or didn't skim much through the war and love stuff.

Thanks for taking an interest in the setup, I'll try and explain the design decisions here.

Role kills are only extra kill power in the event that they allow the Witches to kill someone through protection or a life and even then, they don't allow Witches to gain extra kills on more people. In most cases they're functionally the same as a regular kill.

You hit the nail on the head really - it's intended to make it so that claiming is not an automatic, low cost thing to do, especially for roles like the Priest. It's possible that Reveal based roles are overly affected by this change but it's unclear how exactly it'll all play out as after using their Reveal, such roles are effectively vanilla and a mechanically less pressing target for the Witches.

Role Kill is compatible with Last Stand, but you can only Role Kill once per night, so the extra Last Stand kill must always be a regular one.

I haven't missed a WH in a while, but got a few too many things going on to play

 

I just made a minor edit to the rules: The extra angel ability in HT games no longer protects twice.

OLD: Once per game the Angels may enhance their protection, allowing it to protect the chosen player twice, from any kind of kills for that night.

NEW: Once per game the Angels may enhance their protection, allowing it to protect the chosen player from any kind of kill for that night.

Specifically because it'd get used almost exclusively to save Priest from a rolekill which is not really the intention for the ability.

 

If you have friends or family that wants to sign up, the sign up period ends in ~24 hours.

The plan is to hand out the roles within the next 48 hours (a little bit of prepwork needs to be finished after sign ups are completed).

After that there will be a 24h pregame phase before the gamethread goes live.

I would like tom to make sure it works for him and either /in or /out (he said propably when signing up).

It's been a while since I've had obs for a game, so I'm not sure if it's usually spoiled or not now - I'd prefer it be unspoiled, if everybody is cool with that.

If not, I don't mind just making my own QT for it.

 

I mean .. it is a witchunt, so you won't have a shared qt with dead people anyway.

Will be unspoiled at the start, fi the majority asks for spoilers then they might get that.

If only individuals want to get spoiled then that might happen on discord or via pm.

But unless asked otherwise the obschat is unspoiled.
