Actually before Kalas' plan toDay, I'd been considering using my Hunter shot on Fontisian if we lynched Tempus today

If exactly Newcomb is scum and Luckylee is town, the angels should save Luckylee toNight from Waco's shot. If Lucky is not saved, we will be able to discern whether he was town or scum from his shot and use it to clear Newcomb.

I'm going to need a minute to parse this plan, as well as rework my read wall. Because assassinating Cobalt doesn't make any sense. Just. Sigh.

In terms of trusting the Judge/angel business, I'll just come out with it now. I'm the Oracle and Newcomb's my peasant. So. Either he's town fakeclaiming (???) or we've got a clear Judge. For those of you who are wondering, this is why I never tore into him for his increasingly absurd cases against me are you really pushing me on suspicious adjectives?

I pushed the Mathblade and Sloth kills. I led a kill on Citrus after he lied about an aspect of his role and expected it to clear him (when Mayor also works as a scum role) and literally everyone else was cleared via interaction with flipped scum. And then I told Atum to shoot you, the last mafia, and was promptly ignoring despite everyone else in the game knowing better. Also, Sloth had blatantly attempted to kill me that game before flipping scum.

I'm not sure I can express how I angry I am that I led a lynch D1 on confirmed scum and you were considering shooting me without discussing anything.

Ok, refocusing.

Menace's claim explains a lot and makes me feel better about him. It also just about clears Newcomb, for a number of reasons I will get into later.

Menace, please explain why you voted for Atum d1.

Finally, I am the nurse. I will be giving a life to Newcomb or Waco toDay. I am leaning towards Newcomb but willing to listen to arguments one way or the other.

Actually, I still got killed by the vig there, as Wetnurse was unwilling to let the lynch go to judge because he wanted a shot at shooting.

Fucking. Vigs.

 

A few reasons. Aside from the obvious (thank you for calling me out Citrus-senpai pls no lynch), his lack of solid scum reads after several days of game time was an immediate red flag. Newcomb being the only person he thought was vaguely scummy was another red flag, since hurrr Oracle. His reasoning for it might have been fine if that was the only weak part of his post, but it wasn't. After that it was nothing but generic town read after generic town read. No original thoughts. Sure sign of someone who doesn't want to draw attention to themselves.

His follow up posts did nothing to alleviate that impression, so I put my vote down and kept it there. Until the holy claim, of course.

The why on Cobalt getting killed comes from the assassin's role card:

In order to get the kill Atum had to know the role of the player he killed. Cobalt was the only person who'd hard claimed at that point.

Outside of my conf!town status, I'd thinking Judge!Newcomb (assuming town) is prob more useful with the extra life. I still haven't figured out why I was shot at, unless scum took it seriously when I softed priest (which Citrus did as well, fwiw).

 

Fluff claimed Acolyte. That's why we decided to lynch Atum D2. Fluff should have been the clear choice, since they could have gotten Cobalt lynched D3 (I sure as hell would have pushed that wagon).

 

Moridin, don't remember you posting a read on Luckylee recently, where do you stand on him.

If you think he's town, who are the last two scum (beyond Atum & Tempus)??
