Like the only way the Angels would save Lucky despite Newcomb's post is if letting Lucky die and kill Tempus loses us the game. But? I haven't worked through any of the scenarios of how that could possibly be the case.

Citrus is confirmed town because he died N1.

Atum is confirmed scum, because he claimed Holy, got CCed, and the person who CCed him died in the night.

Cobalt is confirmed town because Atum killed him.

Jan is confirmed town because Cobalt told us Jan was the Town Gambler.

Fluff is confirmed town because he CCed scum and got NKed.

Snowvon is confirmed scum because we told Angels to save LuckyLee if and only if Snow was scum and Lucky was town, and for Angels to go off-script there would absolutely fuck us, so they absolutely didn't.

We're looking for two potential partners.

Priest, if you have a living N1 check, I would recommend you out. It would help a ton, even if you have a green check and not a red check. Your N2+ checks are subject to WIFOM since Atum died D2 and was scum.

I would put money on Tempus being one of the two. His reaction to the plan, which ended in him being shot by Lucky...

... does not seem to come from a town mindset. Like, at all. In fact, I'd say it comes a lot more from the mindset of someone who knows Angels are going to interfere because the plan calls for them to save Lucky, confirm Tempus's partner Snow as scum, and deny the DoB shot on Tempus.

The fourth is going to be tricky.

Waco is clear unless the fake kill was used N2, and eh, not seeing it. Yeah Atum had died, but that seems like kind of a panic move? Waco has seemed so goddamn towny this game compared to last game, and that plus a declared attempt on his life, just... worlds where he's scum are too unlikely.

I want to look at Moridin again, like I said as the day was ending yesterday, and since I'm alive I'll be doing so. There's a degree to which I think he's been coasting on the initial townread generated by his fight with Von... except now that we know Von is scum, yeah, not so much. Probably going to go read that fight again and see if I get any alarm bells, but, strong town here.

Menace is on the table. I've been calling him scum all game, and his Oracle claim with a check on me makes a ton of sense and pushed him way up my list, but he could be a witch who's just telling the truth about his role and his check on me. On the other hand, Proph's townread of Menace did make sense to me, like... it was convincing. I've been tunneling on Menace because of his interaction with /me/ but to the rest of the game, he's been dogged and gamesolving, and Oracle with a check on me there makes sense, so eh, going in a circle. Will revisit.

fonti is not mechanically clear, but she's basically behaviorally clear. She led a scum lynch D1 - I went back and read the post where she jumped on Atum and tore into his big post, and if she doesn't make that post, Atum doesn't get run up. Like, I had bad feelings about Atum's post, and would have listed him in my "would be okay lynching" bucket, but not to the degree of rallying the troops to straight-up kill him. There's being sneaky and clever, and there's sacrificing 25% of your team on D1 in a no-flip game, which is just... yeah.

Lungs/Proph is very very tricky. Lungs had one - ONE - good post all game, I thought. I was so godamn null on him. Just never had a feel, except for that one post townreading Moridin. Proph's big reads post looked good, but did trip one alarm bell with me because of the kind of insubstantial feeling I got about his townread of me. Which, eh, he had just replaced in, was having to condense like 35 pages of material... I can see why it would feel hollow, from a town POV? Definitely not going to just straight up clear him, though.

That's where I'm at.

 

Oh fuck, the game is basically gonna end with my lynch. Unless Angels get a save toNight. And if they don't, we immediately lose to scum!Newcomb.
