Citrus If you are trying to read me tonally in a written form you aren't going to be able to read me because I can shift my tone depending on what I want to project. I was town read in the Revenge game because I wanted to appear town.

In this game I know I am villa so am not trying to wear a mask. I will answer questions and give what I think unless I think the information will hurt villa by helping the witches.

I think I am objectively better at finding villa than witches unless it's someone I can read really well. It is only rarely that condition flips and all I try to do is kill witches and no one will go after them with me. I am not sure what this game will be for me as yet.

I don't do a lot of quoting and I don't go into a lot of my reasoning which are probably faults in my game as it is but it takes me time to compose my thoughts into a written form. Sometimes my reasons are silly and I know it. Sometimes its just a feeling I can't explain to other people. Sometimes I am trying to push to get reads by what other people do.

The last game I played has probably had more impact on me than I wanted to admit. I've spent a lot of time explaining how I think I play the game due to that. I'm done with that now because even though I think it was important to me at least to go into it it becomes a detriment to the game if I don't move on.

There are less than 24 hours left in this day.

What is wrong with this quote?

4 people have not bothered to vote yet, out of those only fluff is excused, since there is no replacement for him yet.
Everyone else is not. If you are town, your vote is your strongest weapon, not only because people will read you for they way you use it, also because for most of us, it is the only way to get a scum killed.

Within the people voting i would like all the people who are sitting on 1-vote-wagons to either make a case or refresh their current case or join another wagon.

1 vote wagons are of no use, unless you are sure enough to try to get others to vote with you, but that doesnt work with sitting on a vote, to do that you have to push it.

This game is kinda slow considering we have less than 24 hours till day end.

I personally would be fine with dLGN slippery and von right now.

Von i feel kinda bad about, so i am willing to cut him the most slack within those three.
The first week back thing sounds reasonable, and i doubt he would lie about not feeling good at the moment (i hope noone would lie about something like that, and i am sure he would not).

So for me right now it is between dLGN and slippery.

will reread a bit and then change my vote accordingly soon.

@SlipperyAxll: Can you answer my question?

Fair enough. I like how he explained his thought process more than the actual method of his, but

Full steam ahead on dLGN, though!

I went back and reread your posts from the last game, and one thing that struck me that seems different from this game (aside from your different tone) was that I felt that you were more interested in actually solving the game. You were asking inquisitive questions and trying to find the alignments of people like fonti.

In this game, it feels like you're handing out townreads like candy and it doesn't really feel like your posts or questions lead to finding town or scum. Your question to Snowvon here:

You never really followed up on this, and you've never interacted with Snowvon outside of this question.

    ..and to SlipperyAxll:

I know you had a minor conversation with Axll after this, but how does this question help you to catch scum?

Going to be out for several hours so just a quickie here:

snowvon tell us why your vote isn't on dlgn?

    jan, same question.

    Repeating this for your considerations:

Also noting that dlgn has done nothing of worth recently except for justify himself.

    (subtext: lynch him)

I am rereading slippery right now.

I didnt vote dLGN initially because i saw a wagon building and would prefer 2 wagons at day end over 1.
Since Snowvon was more than lackluster at the point, he felt like a good alternative.
I don't want to lynch Von today, for reasons given earlier, those are not clearing in a town way, but they buy him a day in my book.

Rereading slippery before i decide my vote, but dLGN is the more likely vote at the moment.

    I guess this makes sense?

Less than 24 hours in the Day, though, so you'd better cast your vote sooner or later. It's also not a great idea to be conservative with your vote - if you're town, all you have is your voice and your vote, and it's a good idea to use your vote aggressively to find scum.

I'm going to need you to give better justification for the dLGN town read other than "tone" and "meta". What do you think of the point I raised against him (that he's not interested in solving the game)?

What makes you think that you can read me on later Days rather than Day 1?

(OoG here) Heh, that's a lesson that's often learned. I lost one of my earlier games based on a newbie's RVS posts that stuck with me to endgame, even though the newbie replaced out. This is why I was a bit cautious regarding Aria early game, btw.

Are you seriously advocating a lurker to be one of the wagons Today? Ditto with Waco, who I think is one of my stronger townreads.

Hmm ok that was over faster than expected.

I like slipperys not lynch today list, but he openly copied parts of it, which means i should not give a lot about it.

The bolded part combined with the whole 2nd passage reads odd to me.
Why mention the first part, when you townread waco anyway.

I have trouble reading it as scummy or towny, just as odd and didnt want to miss out on pointing it out.

I do not think Waco is scum, but if he flips scum, then this is his partner trying to justify a read.

Still not townreading slippery, but since i agree with his no lynch circle for today i will not put him on top of my lynchlist.

    Vote dLGN

    #4th-vote

Will reread dLGN next, might take a little while since i will play a game of videomafia soon.

My earlier townread on citrus is btw close to gone, after reading his reads earlier today, i expected more from him. While his reduced quantity may be understandablle, the lack of quality is concerning at this point.

jan i am town so if you are scumreading him because he actually likes me you'll need to reconsider. i'd suspect he was the oracle tbh if not for him having specific posts he was quick to refer to when assessing my tone or w/e.

regardless I am town and am not getting lynched today ^_^

just joined a 27 person videomafia game .. but will reread you on the side.

Like i agree that your play reads a bit different, but considering that neither delphine nor fonti are playing, that reduces 2 go to people for you from the game, which might explain a change.
Have to reread it to be sure.
I disliked your progression on slippery, i quoted it earlier.

Who do you think are scum at the moment?

hm, this line from cobalt is kinda towny. easy to say as a witch? sure. but probably not something that comes to mind, at least to me, when i'm scum. i don't think.

it was directed at aria who is basically neverlynch to me, btw.

    ---------- Post automerged at 23:55 ---------- Previous post was at 23:48 ----------

my progression? he said something that reminded me of deliphine's opener from last game is exactly what I meant, if you're still caught up on that. he seemed to not really be down to troll and jumped right into wanting to know about meta and asked a question about if a vote was normal. so, it seemed like a towny start. since then he's rambled on and on about a whole lot of nothing but i haven't read it closely to figure out what his intentions, if any, are.

which is all super lol now that I know it's rob alloy, haha.

anyway, yeah, I don't know anybody reeeeeally well, so I am trying to read those of you I know from last game (loch - similar tone and approach as last game, likely town; you - too damn charming to ever want to lynch d1, proph - uhhh, more aggressive, at the very least. i get he isn't on the defensive from fonti but yeah, unusual, and wrong.; kai - unusually active but kind of arrogant/untouchable attitude like last game? but also seems to want to appear very villagery, which I don't recall so much about him last game (he was the fucking 'shitgoblin', after all); snowvon - little i remember off the top of my head, i'm half way thru the first page on reread. gut memory read is slightly towny, I think)

idk I was just super casual to start this game but whatever, continuing on...

    lol yeah I really didn't.

    so here's the deal.

i've been keeping up with the game but not suuuuper paying attention.

i do have some reads though.

Speaking of which it's funny that Jan and dLGN seem super glad to see me since both of them are witches

    <insert dank meme here>

And yeah, PSA, you're getting like 60% from me this game. I just don't have it in me to really stress about this game after last game's soul-crushing defeat, so, yeah.

    Reads incoming.

Which question ? Some of what you have said is directed at DLGN and the formatting blends it all together for me at least. Just repeat the question so I have a clear context to it so there is no misunderstanding between us.
