I think if that's the case we should not lynch Waco and instead let me shoot him tonight.

1. There's a chance DoBWaco takes me with him to deprive town of the shot, then the last witch gets 2 KP tonight.

2. If we lynch wrong outside of Waco toDay, last stand doesn't activate because there are 2 alive going into the Night, then I shoot Waco so there's one alive tomorrow but they only had 1 KP.

 

I am hardclaiming RNG'ing my action. < is the syntax that I should use to be taken 100% seriously, I guess.

No, Pozzai was saying that scum!Snowvon and Loch don't think to use your power to hard-bus - like, you come into D2 going "I peeked Loch and he's a lying liar who lies a lot," then YOU give Aria as your RNG'd peek because you'd be "taking over" for the Watchman who is not in the game.

But I think you'd have thought to do that, like, at least considered it.

 

Strip Pozzai of his life but hold off on killing him (unless people want to claim here and now that he's town and rolling with that to endgame), lynch/Hunter Waco and Jan.

I'll have no info tomorrow, there potentially could be no day after that, and even if there is, my claim wont matter to town overall.

You don't do it half, that's just hedging for the sake of hedging. If you strip me and I turn out to be town, all you do is make the angel's job harder for them, as there's now an extra town to consider.

If you strip and kill me, there's only an extra town in the world where Waco is town, and if scum wants to kill him, that gives a TON of information.

Waco should most likely be shot if we consider him the DOB, due to aforementioned "if we misslynch today, they don't get last stand even if scum!Waco dies in the night) and if we hit today and Waco is scum, yay?

dLGN brown, because he's a shitter. Seriously dLGN, you complained about people not doing enough in the Star Wars game and that annoyed you, we're at a rather critical stage at the moment.

Aria's mannerisms in general makes me have her as town, her annoyance about nothing happening in the game, in particular, felt very towny. Have been trying to keep semi active and working with the tools she had. Withstood pressure from Cobalt fairly good imo.

Newcombs entrance felt good, I disagree with his whole lynch the priests thing, but consider that more a difference of styles. Have in general liked his engagements with me.

Kai as in earlier, talks much more than I'm used to, somehow says less feels unwilling too take actual stances on people apart from his top lynch, slight arrow upwards for demeanor.

Waco is probably the one alongside Jan I should read up on. Gut says he feels like he did in Narutomafia, but due to knowing his alignment might've not paid enough attention to. Seemingly scumread by everyone else, so maybe I'm just off.

Von feels, more distant than I'd expect, less involved, and really really pleasing(not to the eye, that he always is) towards people. There's been a few comments through the thread with a little bite, but they're too few and far between, seems to be interested in avoiding to step anyone over the toes, which is quite like his scumgame. His indecision on me had probably bought him more points, had I not instantly called him out on being too certain on me last game we played.

Jan. Too many things that do not line up, both reads wise and mechanically. He's definitely a read I could be wrong on, but the amount of errors to me is just way above what I'd expect from him.

I don't think I would have picked someone else to lynch? There had to be scum somewhere, and the most likely situation after the Cobalt lynch was that I had to be wrong in my townreads.

If I had to pick someone without interaction it would probably be Snowvon based on just his doing absolutely nothing.

What did you hope to gain from this questioning?

I skimmed through the Pozzai/Newcomb corner case stuff and it doesn't really do a whole lot for me. We should really be concerned about lynching each scum individually rather than propose specific teams and go "if this team is townie/townie/Loch then we lose!"

I want for Waco to claim and to lynch him. I think Newcomb randomizes his shot between Jan and Snowvon. I'm getting a bit unimpressed by Snowvon's recent posts.

 

A summarized case

• End of Day 1, he pulled out a weak lean-town read on Lochness in order to not vote for her, got called out on it by Cobalt, and then proceeded to make noises about lynches Cobalt until a wagon appeared, which he jumped on late.
• End of Day 2, he pulls the same defensive stunt with Lochness, until realizing he's not going to have the people to get the lynch of Lochness which he settles for taking the LC kill.
• His "case" on me is the same tired crap meta argument he tried to mislynch me with in WH5.

First paragraph, incorrect, after the point Sesc claimed Day 2, you were in the background/riding the POE on lynch choices.

And nice AtE in that paragraph, not blatant at all.

My concern with lynching Snowvon is that he was the counterwagon to LochNess and the way LochNess went after him screams scum scrambling to get a mislynch.

Snowvon hasn't exactly been the bastion of towniness, though.

Personally I think Snowvon's more likely to be mafia of the two, but one of Loch's last posts said something about "Waco and Snowvon are on the same team" or something like that, seemed pretty ballsy for someone who's scum MO was to whiteknight a shitload of town.

Outside of Waco I really don't know who the last one is. I think the clears are probably just clear, and gut gun to my head my lynch order would be like... Snowvon>Kai>Jan>Plotzai. Ish. I really don't have strong feelings in that cluster. Plotless claimed in a pretty towny way and Pozzai has seemed a fair bit like his town self from the games I've been in with him, is why he's last. Jan... mrgle. Fuck I'm bad at reading Jan. I /think/ the current AtE he's got going is more of his "town angry"? Like, consider how he was pissed at fonti in WH5. But I hate his progression on me. Kai is just a gut scumread he seems kinda slimy or something, like he's too reasonable, but that's like 100% gut. Snowvon is just... kinda around. Even low-energy town Snowvon has moments where I go "yeah, town."

That's a reasonable point re: counterwagon. Kiiiinda mitigated by the fact that Haunt exists and Loch was LC, but still a point for town!Snowvon.

Would you look at votecounts? I'm here to bounce ideas off if you pull them up, but I'm kinda scrambling to finish a project by midnight tonight and don't really have time / energy to get into them.

Re: people asking me about the questions, I really only cared about snowvons & wacos answers. So the rest of you essentially had make work questions.

A few comments. Personalitycafe requires you to have made 15posts on their standard forum before being able to even see their mafia subforum.

General meta Pozzai thing.
I as a player tend to gather information about people I know, put down an alignment for them before spreading out to unknowns and determining them, typically by asking a lot of questions and probing.

Notes about the game:
I only know one person in the game, which made my normal process hard, at the same time I was playing a witch hunt setup on fantasystrike that had started getting into an important point of the game.

These things coupled does that you should not read into activity levels too much, unless you find something damning in it.

My heart was not really in the game.

Just to clarify, if you read it. You should read absolutely 0 into the greatly reduced activity in that game, everything else should probably be okay to analyse from.

But basic thoughts are I don't mind anyone who's not confirmed dying except for Newcomb, who I now think is the towniest of the unconfirmed. Also, I love how there's a lot more activity now that Pozzai's around.

waco needs to explicitly claim either dob or 'not dob' then newcomb shoots waco tonight.

if waco is actually town dob somehow he should remove pozzai's life so the judge doesn't need to claim.
