What's your reasoning?

Slight scum read on Ax for long, rambling posts. It reminds me of what newbie scum do. Jan is more whimsical than the last game I played with him, but that was over a year ago. Kalas seems more aloof than usual and I don't like it. Miner focused hard on Waco, going a bit farther than I'd expect out of incompetent town when there was so many other people to look at.

I don't have a strong opinion. I am separating what I want to be true versus what the current evidence points to be true. There's no evidence just conjecture based on reading individual players personal styles.

My current list of wants goes as follows

I want Owner to be a Witch so I can wreck her.

I want Jan to be a Citizen in good standing so we can be proper Citizens together again.

I want the people pushing agendas and or having strong opinions to be Citizens.

I want strong feelings about individual players currently in the game so I can feel certain about my reads. I don't have it yet and I don't know if chasing that goal will draw it closer or further away.

My slight reads are that Snowvon feels different this game so he goes on my Citizen pile. I will explain it in that this time he wants people to do things when last time I played he was perfectly content with nothing happening at all.

Jan realizing that it is in fact partially an act even though I am nervous for real makes me want to put him on the Citizen pile also. He is capable of making that observation as a Witch though but since he is currently catless I will lean him slightly Citizen.

Not in a way a new player would talk about any of this.

 

In person, yeah a few years ago at uni.
It was fun, when we didn't have these autistic nerds who used to say "dude you moved left you're mafia". Admittedly, that wasn't for very long and the crowd of morons got annoying because they wanted to laugh and troll more than they wanted to play legit mafia.
But I used to play more poker so I have some idea of tells n shit. I had a friend who'd become very withdrawn and analytical if town and very standoffish when mafia. Basic shit, talking patterns, facial expressions.

 

Someone else pointed out the "why the need to say this," but I don't like how you're exaggerating your lack of familiarity with part of the player list.

Was kinda hoping for something more concrete than this.

I disagree with the Miner wagon atm. He feels different than he did in Concussion mafia, but I get the impression it's him building on that experience.

I said that because someone was asking opinions.

I haven't played in a year. Of all the players, I've played with three in more than one game (Kai, Font, Kalas), four in one game (Snow, Jan, Newcomb, and you), and the rest are new.

 

If me actually talking about someone instead of being useless town makes me scum now, then I'll gladly be lynched if just for the fact that in the future, I'll actually be able to contribute something instead of just sheeping stronger players and waiting for someone to carry me.

 

I dislike this for the most part because he is trying to mimic his former towngame because "it worked".
Trying to play the same way you did before because it somehow worked instead of playing naturally that way is just wrong.

He doesn't say it because it is true, he says it because that is what he did before.

Am I wrong in disliking this?

I have a few things that I think he is more or less likely to do as witch .. but why would I write them all down now?

I don't have a strong read on him at the moment, there is no upside in telling him what to do or not to do.

Why do you call it trying? And when you say towngame was he actually town or was he playing his towngame as a witch?
