No one ever role plays when they are a Witch which means it's especially clever to do it because it gets you read as a proper Citizen. I am going back to the beginning of the thread while my head doesn't hurt to see hwta catches my fancy.

I like this post as it feels like Jan is genuinely trying to discern the motivation of Koalas for making the read on Snowvon. In Witch Hunt 6 many moons ago when I played I wanted to kill Von day one and day two but no one would get on board. I actually don't want to kill him this time around.

I think it's interesting Vira hasn't directly asked me how much experience I have with the game of Mafia. Nor has asked any of the people I have directly stated I have had more experience with if making long rambling posts is Citizen or Witch indicative.

You set up a target and make general commentary about this meaning this or that. You refuse to get specific information about me and my play style by asking me or any other people in the thread then jump on board with Koalas. You are probably just a Witch not having fun this game because you already know everyone's alignment.

OMGUS stands for Oh My God U Suck and is where someone berates for being a bad player. It actually works a lot when people do it too.

 

That scum is, by default, a lower effort play style is wrong. That's just a bad mind set to go into reading anyone with.

Why the bolded? It reads like you're trying to slip a town read on Von in but.. why? Just state it.

More then 3 players were doing something scummy. This means that, best case scenario, some Town players were playing poorly. They all recovered from it to various degrees this means that, worst case scenario, any Scum players in said group became aware of what they were doing. This is annoying.

I do find it interesting that you're the only who's mentioning this as if its a thing.

I find it interesting that you're defaulting to meta reads on yourself as a defense.

Your remark is already flawed when you go its meta defense. Jan is still undecided last time I checked and Fonti has been poking at other people. A defense requires people to say you are an alignment first for it to be a defense.

The main point is Vira didn't bother to ask anyone especially after saying oh I haven't played with most of the people in the game. So she has no idea what the people I have played with the most in forum think about me and made no effort to try and find out. I guess I should draw no conclusions from that lack of effort at all.

You are applying strictly forum standards to the definition of OMGUS btw so are both right in a narrow forum sense and largely wrong in a wider definition. Congratulations on being wrong and right at the same time.

You really missed the point.

This is what I was referring to. You asserting that your posts have to be filtered through some meta perception of your habits to determine scuminess is hilarious and wrong. Especially coming from someone who apparently plays with fonti.

To reiterate, scuminess can be determined without asking other players how a certain player plays. It can be an interesting tool but it is by no means required. And, again, scum =/= low effort.

When a forum player asks about a term being used on a forum by another forum players in response to another forum player using the term in a forum game it's usually safe to assume he's asking about the forum definition.

I don't do mind reading especially when a person uses a classic trick of first going what do you think I disagree with and then going I can't be bothered to tell you what I disagreed with besides everything because it means I have to engage with you providing reasoning on it and you get read as Citizen if I do that.

Oh Vira in the hypothetical sense an experienced angel will be more likely to get a save which is my motivation in that so its a trade off between the two states.

Nope, nothing concrete, because all we have so far are behavioral tells. I prefer to make no reads till something actually happens.

Have you played with owner before? I'm getting a mildly scum vibe from her, but I don't know her playstyle and I might very well reverse my read on her based on what I hear right now.

Koalas is accusing Von of having a bad mind set by the way since I was quoting him when he said Witches don't have to make the extra effort when he read Owner Citizen from that and I disagreed with that regardless of Owner's alignment.

TallDarkStranger My owner read is 8 months old where if she was Citizen her thoughts would bounce around like a spinning top and she would argue with herself about the positions she took which she couldn't maintain if she was a Witch. She can fake it for a day or two but that's all. It is an old read and I don't know if she has fixed that in her play or not.
