Why would there ever not be 2 kills last night, class?

 

I have a few thoughts .. but I will sort through them and maybe listen to other people before I talk too much.

Something else .. should we petition to prolong the day for a few hours?
I think everyone but me lives in America, which means day end at 10 am on monday morning might not be the best time.
Push it back by 8-10 hours, maybe?

I'd clear you. I can't think of a single scenario in which a scum team made of literally anybody would bleed a life off of you in the night to confuse us over just fulfilling their wincon.

I'm clearing Snow. If he's scum he wins, and that's that.

I've been clearing mal as well, but 1 kill last night unnerves me.

Like, let's think about it. If we live in a world where it's tom/Newcomb, why would they ever not use the IK to make it look like there was only one remaining, just to fuck with our heads? Like even if we just said ehh, they're both scum and they used the IK (which is a stretch to me, because I thought we were probably just living in either a scum!tom world, so I fully expected 2 real NKs, or a Jan/Newcomb world which is a world we probably couldn't have addressed but is now just wrong given the NK), this is the moment for scum to use the IK. I think its safe to dismiss that we're looking at a scum world where 2 kills were available and they only chose to use one, because that's straight up anti-win con in a similar way to scum Jan killing himself.

And if there's no reason to not use the IK or 1 NK if 2 NKs were available, then it stands to reason that they didn't because they couldn't. Which means Mal can't be cleared. Which throws the plan in a nasty light, because who stands to gain from bleeding lives off of people with multiple lives? Scum without multiple lives. Who supported me in the pagan logic because he had considered it as well? Mal.

Am I off the reservation here? Because I suddenly really, really don't feel good about this game anymore.

And I'm in a shit position to sway people because you all think I'm scummy anyway. Somebody check my work, please.

Lol, they had to gamble on Jan being odd gambler or unchecked fanatic to have any chance to win. And either he wasn't, or angels thought of the same logic.

Also, I now think it's telling that Typhon is suggesting that the IK is used up, rather than either they used it instead of a kill last night (Jan paranoia, which supposedly is what he's all about) or that they saved the IK for obvious reasons (giving away who is the last scum by bouncing kills off angel protects is a bad look if you wasted the IK earlier).

Good thing my plan still wins unless Jan is scum or Newcomb isn't.

Oh, slightly more respectfully in case Typhon is town.

Using the IK last night along with another kill is pointless after I called it out. Only worthwhile if it isnt considered and makes the next days lynch not consider double scum worlds. Thats why i called it out.

Saving it until the night before final 3 is the normal play because otherwise bounces on the double protect night are fatal.

Which is why it would be super dumb for me to have used up the IK super early on myself.

 

Please avoid discussing the amount of time for Day/deadline extending in the thread - post it in your QT's, I promise I'm reading and responding to them often and promptly.

Von, Jan, I'm going to need you two to ISO me and realize that me not caring about the game after a certain point is exactly alignment null, and actually look at some of the posts I've made this game before it became boring.
