With the current plan all 3 of Tom, Newcomb and you will die.

We can't lose to tom/mal as a world because you would need 2 illusionkills for that.

You could be afraid of a world where either me or von is scum. That is the only avenue scum can push to win this game.

 

This is exactly why you aren't town.

 

I mean, Tom, you could decide that I'm even townier than Jan, and then we'll win as long as von is town.

 

And now I'm back to tinfoiling thug/vaimes.

 

Newcombs death does the same thing.

The same people die, just one more to be save.

There is no downside for town in Newcomb dying, but there might be an upside for scum in him living.
We basically don't lose the game if Newcomb is town.
But we always lose if he is scum (and we do what you want).

And just as your version of the plan is strictly the best from your pov, the version where tom DOBs you is better from my pov.

I recognize that isn't happening and would prefer to just have one of them hammer right now though.

I don't know why town!tom would be angry about Vaimes and mal knowing how to read each other and teaming up.

Here's a thing I know though:
I said earlier that in the scumgame that I was playing concurrently with this game I copied my mindset from this one and town thug would have wanted to look at that.

Y'all have, as a unit, been trying to lynch newcomb for days.

 

I never read other games for meta while I'm playino a game.

That's a strict policy I keep as either alignment to keep mafia from eating too much time. And because if I have that much time that I want to spend, I should reread the thread again instead.

You should know this, I've said it explicitly in games we've played together.

 

Sure, it's townie if I've been wrong about newcomb this whole time.
