I went through it too and I didn't think so. Cobalt gave actual reasoning for the Silver stuff and made sure to really explain the read in depth. If he's a wolf, that just felt like him using TMI to get reads like wolves do, whereas the Manasi thing he just called her town over and over and never analyzed it, so that feels more like setting up for a "get it, I was oracle all along!" thing

I thought Cobalt was the oracle to silver before he claimed. Part of the reason I thought he was the oracle was his acolyte soft at the beginning, since that seemed like town!Cobalt trying to throw the witches off.

I thought it was specifically an attempt to disguise the fact that he's the oracle, which is less likely to come from a witch that wants town to believe he's the oracle down the line.
