Is it just me or does StrikerLee's posts read completely differently than yesterday. Especially comparing to the posts when people started voting for you. I got to ask. Were you like wasted or Is someone helping you?

@Ash: I think the best action for you would to be for you to post not a readwall like I did, but like, scumreads, etc. I'm sure you think some people are more likely to be town/scum for some reason, and considering you have so much experience, you have to have something to say. Right? >_>

I find it peculiar how everyone else says "EDIT" over the rest of this forum and it's common, but when Striker edits he purposefully goes for stealth.

Anyway, I voted for StrikerLee yesterday, and my feelings have not changed, though I do find a few other people to be scummier.

No thanks. I'll keep my opinions to myself lest the people I name try to get me lynched even more vehemently.

The only person I trust is KaiDASH. The fact that he hasn't voted to lynch me makes me feel as though the immediate bandwagon on me is riddled with scum members, though I'm sure there are only a few in there. I have to say that Eidolonic's posts ring out as especially aggressive. Castiel's 'no one cares' about the surprisingly fast bandwagon is also alarming.

 

Let's hypothetically assume you are town. I don't necessarily believe that, but let's operate from that perspective for this post. You basically have two options:

1.) You keep quiet about your opinions on scum that are driving the wagon on you. You die, which is frankly pretty inevitable at this point, either today or tomorrow, and those opinions never get aired. Those same scum remain free to push the next wagon, and may not even have any suspicion on them. This does not help town at all.

2.) You point out the people on your wagon that you think you are scum, mention precise posts and turns of phrase that make you think that, and build a convincing argument against them. This doubles as making you more likely to be town, as the information you put forth actually benefits the town, unlike anything you've really posted so far. This is a good thing in this hypothetical scenario where you actually are town. It helps put suspicion on people who need it, and helps clear some suspicion on you.

This whole post is probably a poor one for me to make, since if you 'are' scum, it's all but coaching you - but I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can really say to keep people from killing you, either town or scum. If you reveal as a powerful town role, scum will kill you. If you continue on the path you have been, town will kill you. It just comes down to this: is it helping your faction to remain silent and unproductive even as your death closes in?

*Double Post Edit* For what it's worth, I actually agree with you regarding Castiel's posts and the tone taken within them. He certainly merits further attention and pressure. I personally think he's probably town, and making himself an easy target for scum - but he hasn't posted enough actual content to confirm that, or disprove it.

 

Your defense isn't really helping yourself. I'm not impressed that you are accusing scum of starting a band wagon. Even if you are town, at the very least, you are screwing with everyone else by posting crap. So I'm comfortable lynching you right now.

Eh, it's a perfectly valid defense to claim that scum created the bandwagon on you - but you have to back it up in detail, and convince others of that fact. Not keep your opinions to yourself.

Yeah, I didn't want to actually start a bandwagon to distract from the two current ones, in case one of them uses it as a chance to escape.

 

Fuck it. I'll check back when I'm close to being lynched and reveal my role, but I don't feel like defending myself when Eido is dead set on me being lynched, and apparently most of you agree.

There is absolutely no way for me to prove my innocence except through the blatant role-hints I've dropped in previous posts. You guys all missed my insinuations, so oh well.

 

What I've been dead set on is you actually posting something of value. When you continually just refuse to say anything that is actually helpful to the town, why are you so surprised people want to lynch you?

Unless you're going to roleclaim a holy role, any other role can be town or scum, and therefore your reveal doesn't prove anything. It's helpful, sure, but making that the core of your defense isn't advisable.

I'd have been perfectly fine with going after StrikerLee, or even a few other people today. I just threw the initial vote at you to see how you'd respond and see if we could get content out of you other than trolling and refusals to say anything. I'd 'still' be okay with killing StrikerLee instead of you today - we have ~60 hours left in the day yet.

I've been aggressive, sure. And maybe you feel like I've fixated on you. And I guess I have to some extent - but primarily to just get you to actually participate, and gauge reactions in other people to the pressure on you. Who came to your defense, and /didn't/ come to your defense both are equally telling, once we have more information.

So I'll ask one more time: If you think there are scum on your lynch wagon, and that the coven, and/or the Junior Witches have piled on, name them, give reasons for why you think that, and actually do something.

There's a saying that the best defense is a good offense. Or, in this case, actually doing and saying things that actually benefit town, rather than taking the 'fuck this, whateverlol' attitude. You can't really defend your actions - since your only real action has been inaction. Just need to change that.

TL;DR - there's still 60 hours in the day. Don't quickhammer Ashaya, and if you are Ashaya, don't simply roll over and die. Contribute.

 

This is just such a horribly bad attitude to have. Honestly, even if you're town, if you're playing like this... you're going to get lynched. And it will continue to happen until you learn to post useful content.

When I see that you're meta'd into doing this every freaking game it kind of bothers me, tbh. Because then, suddenly, you draw scum and what - we're just supposed to let you post nothing/trolly gibberish and not suspect you still?
