We're waiting. I want other people to get their thoughts in before Hammertime.

Do we need another vote on guljons? I left my moscone password back at my dorm ;_; and I'd rather not get it unless we need the lynch.

guljons has 6, so we're at hammer-1. Kindly don't until more people get an opprotunity to chime in.

gotcha. I don't really have much to say, guljons must have an extra life, so lynching him will likely kill him dead. Then we can start looking at JWs more.

Sorry I haven't been able to post until now, guys. The days keep getting shorter and shorter.

On topic, we have some banging Angels. Don't know why they didn't protect Moridin until today, but it's a damn good thing they didn't. No more EWs! We're almost there, guys.

Here are my suspects for the final JWs:

Coleam- On top of the Pauper shenanigans the other day, I find his 'misunderstanding' with the number of JWs to be suspicious. I feel like it could be another hail mary attempt.

KaiDASH- He's been all over the place after the Great JW!Court Clusterfuck, jumping from soft claiming Court to outright denying ever being a part of it to pushing a hammer yesterday, which lead to Thief!Guljons almost taking out our Gravedigger.

Taure- He hasn't added jack to the thread since he joined. I can understand taking some time to catch up with the thread, but AngelRick has at least been trying to contribute. The only thing Taure has been doing is jumping on the popular bandwagons. That's literally all his posts are made up of.

So, uh... Do you guys want me to hammer the lynch? Or would you prefer a bit more discussion?

Might as well wait a little bit. More discussion might be nice since we have a few new players.

My JW reads are from strongest to least: Kai (1, shocked if he isn't), Sirion (2, surprised if he isn't), coleam (3, likewise), Menace (4, could easily be).

Beyond that, bob is still an outside shot. I've actually had the opposite reaction to Rick's posts as other people, he's going down my possibilities list (admittedly wholly meta reasons).

---------- Post automerged at 06:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:54 PM ----------

Taure is still utterly null to me. :|

If you people aren't gonna post, I may as well drop the hammer.

    Hey, guljons.

    Bang.

    You're dead.

    It's night now.

From what he's said on IRC, Taure joined up with the caveat that he only had to vote and not otherwise play. A damn crappy way to play, but we were struggling for players anyway and at least this one is semi-active.

Well you do have the list of everyone else in the coven right now, right? Even if you don't, just post it at the beginning of the night. There is no rule saying you can't post then.

Er, he doesn't get the results until he joins the Coven tonight, if he's a Spy. And if you're suggesting he post right after he joins... Well, that's cheating, so I'd advise against it.

But yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about his claim. I'd ask for proof, but there really isn't much he can provide at this point.

Yeah, it definitely looks like a jw move, I'm just pointing out that a town spy doesn't really need protection tonight, unless you can't post during the night. I do think that a town spy reveal right now would be really stupid.

So right now I am ok lynching Kai, I'll wait for more discussion before I lynch anyone.

You can't post during the Night Phase. It is specifically prohibited. :/

I'm pretty sure Striker was the last remaining spy. The chances of a spy surviving are basically nil, and Kai being a JW is far more likely.

That said, unless we come up with a better target Lynch: Kaidash.

Aurion's read of coleam/sirion/Kaidash seems good, but I'm still not totally convinced about coleam. Sirion... I've been suspicious of him all game with nothing to point to.

I wouldn't be opposed to either of the others being lynched.

Good call, Aurion. Guljons was the Thief, yeah. Fwiw, though, we should probably consider that KaiDASH was angling to not be killed by the coven, and give him a reprieve until tomorrow. If he gives us a lie coven (and there is no spy), we kill him. Plus a lie coven without any spies alive would have to make town hit a townie, and we do have a vigilante needing one more kill to activate, yes? If the vigilante kill activates, we know Kai was lying, and he can take Kai out and move on our suspicions from there on.

Otoh, if Kai is telling the truth, it would be a touch stupid to lynch him.

---------- Post automerged at 08:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:55 AM ----------

Oh, btw, if there's a Moonlight Pagan out there (unlikely enough, I suppose) now would be a great time to activate.

Process of elimination is a seriously underrated problem-solving method :p

Moonlight or Twilight would be nice, but I'm pretty much resigned to Twilight being dead or scum at this point.

If Kai's a spy yeah, lynching him isn't great but I'm 100% on him not being legit- of all my JW suspects, he's the one who I absolutely can't see as a Spy.

If Twilight activates, that skips night, right? So I'm pretty sure that would mean no new coven, which is not that great if we want spy info. Hence my preference for Moonlight - if there's only one spy (and it's not Kai/we lynch Kai), it would take an act of extreme luck to preserve his life through the night.

And frankly, without process of elimination, we haven't got too much. The spies are either dead or going to be dead by the end of the night, I likely won't survive much longer now that my Angel Protection is gone, so we have no way of knowing if we are on track (barring a vigilante kill which is pretty much a oneshot anyway and could also be indicative of JW Vigilante).

---------- Post automerged at 10:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:40 AM ----------

Also, have you considered that your suspicion about KaiDASH having to be a JW is what he was going for?

Kai dies soon enough either way. If we don't lynch him and he survives the night, he gives us a scumlist. In the absence of any spies, if his list is a lie, it must consist of at least one townie (and that's assuming he's willing to bus his teammates). As such, the Vigilante kill will eventually trigger, and it will hit Kai, as our one confirmed JW. So we are essentially giving up one townie for one JW and hints as to who the others are (or at least are not) based on his list.

Again, this is based on the Vigilante being town, so not a perfect plan, but I have a mild townread on Aekiel, so I'm willing to put it out there.
