    Just seen it.

Plot was terrible. Hardly any funny one-liners to make up for it.

Best moment was evil guy saying "what are you?" and him replying "The Wolverine"

The red-haired girl seemed to have the emotional range of a teaspoon, not sure if it was supposed to be that way or was her acting though.

The Jean scenes were pretty cool and probably the best bit imo as it slightly helped resolve some of his issues.

The end scene was like you was expecting a few more words to be said and then just cut off with those two just staring at the camera.

Life lesson - dont save Japanese soldiers unless you want them to try and take your immortality.

    6/10

How were the action scenes with the Silver Samurai?

Very brief. He had about 5-10 minutes screen time, and about 1-2 minutes properly going head-to-head with Logan. It wasn't really a full on fight, either.

Lame. That was what I was looking forward to most about this movie.

At this point, I'm just hoping they don't half-ass Days of Future Past like they did the Dark Phoenix saga in X3.

I was hoping this film would be great and they'd go on to do something with Omega Red. But now I don't think that's likely, and they probably wouldn't do it justice anyway.

Edit: Weirdest double post ever. Fixed, now, sort of.

I sincerely hope that Days of Future Past is as good as First Class. To be honest, that's the only movie in the series I've thought was really good.

It was Wolverine in Japan. Why the hell did you expect a decent movie?

Pretty much this. Trailer looked fucking retarded, then again, I know nothing about the actual comics.

The comics are actually pretty decent. I didn't like the last Wolverine movie, though, so I doubt I would like this one.

Considering these producers and directors have such a hard on for Wolverine and Hugh Jackman, they should make an Age of Apocalypse movie.

Watched it. It was an okay action movie, nothing more, nothing less. At times, it was pretty confusing and I didn't really know who was fighting who, or why.

Japan, as a setting, was nice. To be honest, though, if they'd just the movie about the hot chick with the red hair, it would've been even more awesome.

Just saw it... Worst marvel movie ever. You know with Days of Future Past coming why did the studio allow such a poor movie? Surely they thought that this might ruin future X-men Movies and First Class was super good.

    Great fun.

Turn your mind off and watch stupid action and have a good time. Couldn't help some of the wtf-hands-in-the-air moments but still was fun and enjoyable.

I enjoyed it. relaxing fun and a focused character piece on Logan.

Could have used more humor though: this is PG13 in summer, I need some levity, or how am I going to face the fall?

I thought Pacific Rim was better than this. I thought the acting in Rim was mediocre at best, but compared to this it was stellar. The top of the bullet train fight was less believable than skyscraper tall robots against monsters from another dimension. Finally, the plot was so thin that you could go down to the toy store, buy a plastic set of wolverine claws and cut through it with no problem.

I mean, if you're expecting Oscar material, you're going to be disappointed. It wasn't great but it wasn't the worst movie I've seen this summer. 6/10

Look at the name, it should be obvious.
I thought the best scene in the film was the one after the credits. That's not to say, I disliked the movie, I just thought it was alright. Everything to do with Wolverine (character arc, acting, dialogue) was alright. I just didn't give a shit about anyone else in the movie (barring Jean Grey) so I was a bit disappointed. But, I can be faulted for my high expectations.
