I think the worse part with g2 and fnatics loses isn't that the other team was better. Not saying that aren't, they most likely are. But the fact that fnatic and g2 threw so hard (in the end for fnatic) that they didn't give themselves a chance. Not sure which one is worse, fnatic throwing when they were on the cusp of victory or g2 just never being in the series at all outside of one game.

In the end it's not that they lost because they put up the best fight they could, but rather both teams end up throwing so hard it's nearly impossible for the other team not to win. Fnatic put a good showing in the first couple games but ended up giving it away, and g2 were never really in it.

Loses would be easier to swallow if both teams went down swinging rather than just not giving themselves a chance to win at all.

Also that post game celebration by Damwon? Burn g2, burn. You deserve it with your cockiness.

 

lol, G2's cockiness is what makes them a fun team to watch. Yeah, let DWG have their fun, but burn? C'me on. At least the press conference was, despite the horrendous questions, quite fun and uplifting, though I'm sure the players are still hit hard by the loss.
