We still have the epilogue chapters to look forward to aside from the last arc, and I imagine they'll probably be pretty interesting as there is a lot of plotlines to wrap up and possibly setting stuff up for the sequel. I guess it's a good time to donate if you want more Worm?

 

Especially seeing as the more bonus chapters he does the more characters that'll survival. I guess Wildbow is essentially holding the characters hostage.

It seems that Taylor has activated her bankai - Hellen Keller mode.

 

Could it be possible that Weaver can't move well because she's using her power on herself since she's in her own range, since Panacea removed the limits of the shard and one of them was so that the shards wouldn't harm their hosts.

 

That sounds entirely plausible actually.

I'm kind of interested in what Skitter hope to achieve with her new power. I mean, obviously she's going to want to see if it works on Scion, but getting within 16 feet of the guy sounds practically impossible.

 

Well, if she got herself within sixteen feet of some sort of mover she could take control of them. A teleporter would be ideal, but anyone who could get her close to him fast and retreat if he was immune would probably work fine.

I really doubt her power will work on Scion though because that would be entirely too anti-climactic. I kind of like the idea of her being able to control the Endbringers with it though, plus that would be pretty terrifying.

 

Essentially, she has to make her way to Khonsu...

 

She could use other capes by implementing the relay bugs idea and having capes that can, widen her range by connecting them. This is Taylor, I highly doubt that she'll let the range limit, limit her.

It just hit me that all the capes Dinah saw around Taylor are all going to be under her control, kind of scary.

I just hope that whatever happens she takes over Shadowstalker, completely and utterly and then make her make a suicide move and we'll be rid of that annoying pest of a character.

Plus, I haven't reread the particular chapter yet so not sure, since it was hinted that the Simurgh knew what would happen to Taylor she could have possibly setup something to aid her when the change happened.

 

The real question now is whether Taylor's Shard has limitations beyond the range or not. Would she be able to control Scion or the Endbringers if she got within range of them?

 

Probably she will go after what is left of the dead worm so she can aquire control of its shards...

 

So I just had a thought. Would Taylor be able to survive the death of her own body with this ability? Given that she seems to be a step removed from it now, possibly existing as a hive mind within all the bodies she controls, I could see her being able to survive death.

 

That's certainly an interesting thought, but since the effect seems to be centered around her body it might not work. However, if she still had things to move around her own body (such as her wings), she could perhaps still function as normal (if a bit more smelly)

 

Hmm. Good point. If her brain is destroyed the link with the Shard would be as well, since it's centred on some type of gland. Probably wouldn't work then.
