@Typhon: Depends on what you're looking for. If you just want a place to hide you'd be rolling Stealth. If you want to make a Declaration first, describing what kind of place you'd find, that would be Burglary with a difficulty of 4.

Ahh, okay. Rolled a 3, so I'm going to invoke my Wraith of London aspect, saying he's had to do things like this all the time, which should push me up to a roll of 5, topping the difficulty. It costs me my FP, and I'm now at 0 FP with a "base" that I can describe to suit my needs (within reason). Is all of that right?

Sorry, I just want to be certain that I'm doing things properly!

Yeah, that's correct. Just describe your 'base' and give it an aspect name that you can tag/invoke. Since you've beaten the difficulty by +1 you get to keep that aspect for the rest of the scene (assuming it isn't negated in some way).

You can tag it for free, once, and then invoke it for a fate point from then onwards.

Rolled twice in that last post, one being a (probably unnecessary) Stealth roll, and the other being a Burglary roll to check out the casino at large: find the target vault, find the watchers, see any other major valuables, find places that I could teleport to unseen, etc. I gave myself a +3 bonus to the Burglary roll for spending an hour or so at it, as I figured it would a few minutes to orient myself to the rooms, and then I could spend the rest of the time studying them.

    Stealth 7
    Burglary 4

Aek, I kinda did say all of that multiple times in both threads, I've made it very clear that the plan doesn't involve us trying to sneak past the security but instead just disabling it and then the people inside. Also, I'm not really sure why Dynamo is going along with us in the tunnel since that just means that he wont be able to do anything up top and well, he isn't going to be doing anything down here.

Teleportation, dude. More specifically, his teleportation doesn't extend through the entire length of the tunnel, so he has to go along with you guys or go in from up top. Given that he can tell you in person when he's launched the grenades this way, there's little reason for him to go in from the surface. Riskier too, if he's spotted.

@Ashan: You're looking at an Incite Effect Manoeuvre to create the aspect Destroyed Surveillance System (or something similar). Could you do me a favour and go into a bit more detail about how you're doing it as well.

Difficulty wise I'm thinking this should be a 6. You're looking to crush a lot of things here, many of which you are only aware of because of spaces where there should be something.

As for the time bonus, your power takes something like half an hour to set up, right? I can't remember the exact time any more. Use that as the base for the amount of time you want to dedicate to this. +1 to the roll per step up the time ladder.

10 minutes, so having spent an hour preparing in the tunnel waiting for the blast, +3.

We're all waiting on Aekiel to post what happened with Fissure and to then to Dynamo's turn.

I assumed there was an exam related hold up here (well, on all of the RPGs that died at once), and things would start back soon. Everybody finished up?

There, I have now been finished finals for a week and have driven across the entire United States. Are we starting this back up, or is it kill?

Good news everyone. The shit I've been going through the last couple of weeks has ended and I can finally get back to this. This is helped by the fact that I am going to be poor as shit for the next few weeks so I get to avoid my commitment to having a social life during that time.

I'll look through my notes and reacquaint myself with the situation then start GMing again in the morning. For now though, sleep.

Okay, I'm doing the IC posts now. I've got work soon so I might miss one or two people out, but I'll get them done when I get back.

Also, I've created a new Mythweavers sheet for Dynamo since I can't edit the other one. Copy/paste job for the most part, but I've had him sacrifice his batteries so that he can have a few sleep grenades to use as part of the plan.

Got to head off to work now, but I'll do Mishie and Corellon's stuff afterwards.

Just a reminder that I'm stalking them as well. Not trying to be a nag or anything, just don't want to be forgotten on that other thread. That said, if it's easier for you to say something like "you saw/heard what happened" and let me file the main thread, I can do that.

Edit: No rush! Just didn't want to get lost there.

Yeah, haven't forgotten you. I was just rushing to get the IC post up before work.

    More incoming after Penny Dreadful.

Sorry guys. Surprise visit from a favourite relative has kept me both from this game and moderately drunk. Morning post is incoming though. Promise.

Okay, the rest is up to you guys.

Initiative for combat, if it happens, would go like this:

    Wisp/Shade
    Fissure/Zephyr/Rosetta
    Guards
    Dynamo

Ties are decided by Alertness rolls.

@Typhon: Do me a favour and adjust your char sheet so that your Strange Senses are tied to specific skills. Like Shadow Sight - Investigation, Hearing - Alertness, for example.

Since it's my turn now, I'll be using my power to tunnel into the vault, do I need to roll anything?

Nope. It would have been a Stealth roll, but with the security system down there's no reason to do so.
