Hey, I'm just posting this to inform you of this great site by Wimvicken that needs help. Basically, the origional site was shut down when its owner died, so we had to relocate to a different one. It used to be a non-Ginny and no-Slash site. However, thanks to its democratic nature, despite the banning of slash on the site, "newbies" have joined the site and are attempting to make Writing Center 4, one of the last non-Ginny fanfiction sites on the internet, into another one of those average sites where it panders to the pro-Ginny shippers. I urge anyone who reads this to join Writing Center 4 and vote immediately against Ginny shipping.

Meh, if the userbase wants H/G let them have it. Its gonna be under a filter so its not like it'll ruin your experience with the site.

 

yeah, but really, its the principle of the thing. I've seen countless other sites ruined because of Ginny/Harry pairings allowed. There should be at least several site offering an alternate area to go without having to deal with Ginny/Harry pairings all the time.

 

Never heard of the place before. Any good fics that aren't housed elsewhere?

Also, WC3 sucked when Wimvicawhotle ran it (it was mostly his stories, but also the attitudes of some members), it'll still suck until ya'll embrace the fact that there ARE other plots out there.

Rofl, this site is win. All the lulziest smut and shitty fics are there. Like that one where every character is a dinosaur animagus. Or that one where Harry gets bonded to every female in the United Kingdom.

 

Why would you host "lost fanfics"?

The author realizes that his story sucks, and takes it down in embarassment. Unless you plan to ridicule him forever - a worthy goal, to be sure - why keep them?

 

There are some pretty good stories that are abandoned or taken off just because author didn't like one or two reviews.

I guess I just saw things like stained_future and Knowledge is Power and that kind of shit that just got out of control.

The former being, of course, orders of magnitude terrible-er than the latter.

Damn it, the site only has the Dragon's Tear by him. Figures the least imaginative and worst-written of his works is the only one available.

Worthless site, especially since the HP Recycle Bin has everything it has. It's owner had the right spirit in banning slash I guess, but neither he nor anyone else there can write so it doesn't matter anyway.

 

I know one, but it's a crossover.
